This place will run out of business soon, the portion was cut in half with increasing price.
Previously I got the oxtail which was good but prices have skyrocketed. Larger portion now $28. There are other options for that. I saw a guy with jerk pork - large portion if that's what you are after.
Don't recommend the beef patties. Asked for spicy but really they are mild, thick puff pastry, alot of filler (almost like bean paste but not) - where is the beef? Using Randys or Patty Time as my benchmark.

Roywoods Union was a disappointment, both in terms of portion sizes and prices. Given the current economic climate and ongoing trade war tension with the Orange man, it's at best businesses try their best in offering value, but unfortunately, Roywoods fell short. I ordered the bbq chicken with rice and the portions were incredibly small, leaving me unsatisfied even after paying a hefty price for the meal. The food quality was ok, but it didn’t justify the steep price. In this tough economy, it's hard to ignore how much you're spending, and Roywoods just doesn't provide enough value for the money. I hope they reconsider their pricing or offer better portion sizes to meet customer needs. Until then, I’ll be avoiding this spot and saving my money for better value elsewhere.

One of the better patties I’ve had in a while. Plenty of filling and the spicy beef is actually spicy.

While the food is great, the portions are not too great for its price.
Prices are way too high. It tastes good but it’s not worth the price. And with plenty of other options to choose from, I don’t think I’ll be ordering from here again.
But if you are really craving for some ox tail and you’re rushing, I guess you can order from here.

Yesterday on a trip to Toronto we stopped by Roywoods at Union Station to buy their recommended dish Peas n Rice with jerk chicken. It was the best, most delicious Peas n Rice we have had, better than any we have had in Jamaica. Generous servings too. We will definitely be stopping by Roywoods again on our next trip to Toronto. Everyone who loves jerk chicken should check this restaurant out.

Used to by my favourite place at Union. Inflation has clearly hit them hard. Smaller portion sizes, food is less fresh, less staff=slower service. Would’ve preferred to pay more

it’s ok, pricey for what you get. I was going to get the small oxtail portion but when I saw the size of it I had to switch, way too small. The big portion was $28 too expensive, so I ended up with bbq chicken which is ok. Should have gone to What a jerk nearby
