Very small restaurant but in an ideal location. Very few tables inside the Pantages Hotel which was not understood at booking. 1 bartender and 1 server. Pleasant server but the food arrived cold.

Disappointing visit. Food quality fair to poor. Great fries, not great fish and chips, cool pasta, and small portions. Service was nice, though.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible.

I don't believe a "chicken sandwich" can be so disgusting, like the one they served me on December 30th, 2023. I was staying at the hotel with a friend and ordered 2 of those "culinary delights" to go (they cannot even deliver it to the room, but OK, maybe it is the hotel's fault...). What you get is 2 layers of almost burnt breading between 2 pieces of round bun. No sauce, no ketchup for your fries, just a thin, almost invisible trace of some plastic-like substance, which is supposed to remind you of cheese. I challenge you to find any traces of chicken in that sandwich! Well, I finally found 2 paper thin slices lost in that thick breading. The price? - $25 plus tax! How can a manager of this place and the cook even have a job in 2023!?

The restaurant was definitely under staffed on our visit Jan 1/24. One waiter trying to to run the restaurant is just not feasible, no matter how good they are. Long wait time to take order, had to remind waiter what we wanted, food came out cold and once food was served, no on came by to ask if the food was okay. Not a good way to commence the new year. For a restaurant with pricey entrees, one could afford to have more staff on!!

Do not recommend visiting. Ordered the summerlicious three course menu: calamari fritti, bison burger and flour less chocolate cake. The calamari was over fried and many pieces were burnt, the dipping sauce was good with the pieces that were edible but most weren't. The bison burger was basic, would have tasted better if it was cooked medium/medium rare. It had very little cheese stuffed and not even a hint of bacon which it supposedly is stuffed with. The chocolate cake was chocolately and delicious which is why this place gets its two stars. There were many insects flying around the restaurant and even settled on the food which we then couldn't eat. Alerted the waitress to this and she responded with "oh they're just fruit flies and they get in because of the door opening and we can't avoid them." Ummm fruit flies carry bacteria and other restaurants seem to be able to avoid them indoors. Clearly, food safety, taste and health standards is not a priority for this restaurant and so do not recommend.

We just ordered the beef sliders and a Caesar Salad. The beef slides were just okay. Meat seemed a little dry. The Caesar Salad was served with cheese balls and just a few sheaves of Romaine. A little odd.

Pepper was in little packets like fast food. No Parmesan for spaghetti. Another cheese offered but would need to pay extra. Entree tasted r good minus the cheese. No red pepper flakes or hot sauce available.

A very familiar coffee aroma grabbed my attention on my way out and to my delight, it was Marley Coffee. Every Jamaican gets thrilled whenever they encounter aspects of Jamaican culture outside of island. I tried the parmigiano scrambled meal. It seemed a bit pricey but the flavors and plating were excellent and felt well worth it. Awesome experience.

An interesting take on what appeared to be an Italian menu but I was pleasantly surprised. The pasta was well cooked and the braised beef was almost perfect. The touch of chili oil was definitely unexpected but I quite liked that additional flavour. All in all it was a great dish and well constructed. My only complaint would be that it needed a bit more sauce. Kudos to the Chef!

If you're looking for a great burger, Stages Restaurant & Lounge is definitely worth a visit. The chef, Lex, knows how to make a tasty burger that's sure to satisfy. The burger I had was cooked to perfection, with a juicy patty and delicious toppings. The bun was fresh and held up well to the toppings with delicious perfectly melted cheeseBut Stages isn't just about burgers. The restaurant has a variety of other dishes on the menu that are sure to please. From appetizers to entrees, the food is well-prepared and flavorful. And if you're looking for a great drink to go with your meal, the lounge area has a wide selection of beverages to choose from. One of the standout features of Stages is the atmosphere. The restaurant has a sleek and modern feel, with plenty of comfortable seating options.Overall, I would definitely recommend Stages Restaurant & Lounge to anyone looking for a great meal out. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is inviting, and the service is top-notch. And with a talented chef like Lex at the helm, you're sure to be in good hands.
