Supermarket is one of my favourite spots to visit. They have some incredible live music nights. Angelina is an incredible host and the drinks are always yum. If you’re in or around Kensington, be sure to check out if Supermarket has live music going on or just head over for some drinks and you won’t regret it.
I played at Supermarket a few months ago for NXNE 2025. Very cool spot, and the staff being very friendly and easy to work with was a huge plus. But, I would like to draw your attention to the real star of the show: the Butter Chicken Poutine. After a long and sweaty set, I decided to stop up at the bar for some poutine. Upon the bartender’s recommendation, I opted for the Butter Chicken style. As it was being prepared, the aroma circulated the room, preparing my taste buds...
My friends and I went to Supermarket Bar and Variety for their Chappell Roan night. They played all the OGs and showcased local drag talent. The seating was comfortable, there was tons of space for dancing in front of the stage, and the food/drinks were delicious and reasonably priced. We’ll be back!
