“Excellent and pleasant counter service. Wait time for our order was reasonable as well. The original burger did not disappoint however we made the mistake of ordering doubles and they were a little too substantial to finish so next time it will be singles. Onion rings stellar and cheesy fries pretty good too. Banana desert was a not bad but I think next time the lemon tart looks like a less rich and sweet option which might be a bit more doable after a single burger. Location is good proximity to Bud stage and Coca Cola coliseum.“

“I’ve travelled all over Vietnam and have enjoyed Bahn Mi from the North to South. No Bahn Mi outside of Vietnam comes close to taste or authenticity as 88 Food’s. I cannot recommend this place enough—and the prices are amazing. I didn’t know you could find cheap food this good in Toronto.“

“Wow, what an amazing place for Korean food! The vegan bibimbap with the tofu is absolutely delicious. The owner is extremely courteous. I also loved the gochujang, it was extremely well made. Highly recommend this place for Korean cuisine including vegan options!“

“Rudy is truly one of the best burger spots in Toronto. If you’re looking for a properly made burger—juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked with care—this is the place. Skip the big fast-food chains and spend your money here instead. The patties are consistently juicy, the buns are soft but structured, and the balance of flavors is spot on. Simple, honest, and executed extremely well. Rudy never disappoints.“

“Great food, drink (Gulaman), and halo-halo! We enjoyed every bite and sip :D
We might be able to experience the restaurant more if we came at an earlier time, but either way, we had a good time here. 😋 The pricing of the menu is reasonable as well :D“

“I absolutely love this place! The sushi and sashimi are top-notch for the area and price — thick, fresh, and incredibly flavorful. I even forgot to take a picture before diving in because it was that good. The Kaisen Don and Sashimi Trio are also amazing — seriously thick sashimi that melts in your mouth.
The store itself is clean, cozy, and welcoming, making it a perfect spot to enjoy a meal. I’m definitely becoming a regular here, and this will be my go-to sushi spot in the neighborhood!“

“If you’re looking for Jamaican food cooked in a healthy way, head on over to @jerkupcentral ! I ordered the large jerk pork dinner. I enjoyed the steamed vegetables (different from the typical coleslaw), rice and peas and the tasty, lean jerk pork. I washed it down with my favourite @dandgjamaica pineapple soft drink! I rate it 4 1/2 out of 5 stars because I needed a bit more “jerk”. Give me the 🔥, I can take it lol. 🇯🇲 #jerkpork #jamaicanfood“

“Stopped by Kevin’s Taiyaki, a little hole-in-the-wall spot inside a market and a fun place to try a unique treat.
🧆 Food:
I had the custard taiyaki, and my friends tried one for the first time as well. Everything was solid — sweet, warm, and perfectly baked.
👥 Service:
The cashier was really sweet and accommodating, even accepting USD, which made the visit easy and friendly.
🎨 Aesthetic:
It’s a simple stand that focuses on one item, keeping the experience straightforward and centered on the taiyaki itself.“

“The freshest ingredients I’ve ever had from a sushi place. This is our go-to to pick up a poke bowl before heading down to Trinity Bellwoods for a picnic. Their poke bowls are divine - so flavourful and well seasoned, the salmon is immaculate.“

“Recent social media activity has made this place quite popular.
I had the curry goat but also samples the curry goat, oxtail Momos and oxtail Mac and cheese.
It was delicious and I'll be back for another curry goat.
What I appreciated was when they switched cashier when it was super busy so that she wasn't overwhelmed.
The only reason why it isn't a five is the lack of tables and the slew of options on the wall when they really only had the some of it available written on a a frame sign.
I would suggest having your wall list the daily specials and a smaller booklets menu or counter menu to list your occasional specials.“

“Great brekkie spot. The gold wrapper does not disappoint. It keeps your sammies warm even in - 20 degrees. I could do with slightly less egg to reduce the sogginess of the bun but otherwise the flavour is there and it hits the spot. I was pleasantly surprised by their iced coffee (+ milk & simple syrup).“

“Best burger in the city. Shake and Rudy are good too of course, but Aloette is a step above, for the same price.
Haven’t tried the chicken options but the beef is excellent. Not sure what grade or cuts they use, but it’s packed full of beefy flavour goodness. What sets Aloette apart though are the chef-y toppings that make it the best blend
/hybrid of a smash burger and restaurant burger.
Cheese fries come with a briny pepperoncini/mustard relish topping and is perfect to cut through the richness of the cheese sauce.
Only 4 stool seats so this is a takeout spot.
Staff are super friendly and courteous.
I’d give 6 stars if I could. The best.“

“I’ve been going to Tony & Nick’s for a few years now, and I’m finally taking the time to write a review — it’s consistently delicious. It’s one of those places where the food is always fresh, the portions are generous, and the quality never slips.
I really appreciate the familiar faces every time I visit. It’s a family-run business, and you can feel it — everyone is welcoming and genuinely kind.
If you’re looking for a vegetarian recommendation, try the eggplant sandwich. But my parents LOVE the steak sandwich. Lots of options.“

“There's a good variety of tasty dishes to choose from, with their perogies being the highlight. My favourites are the potato & cheddar, as well as mushroom & sauerkraut. I've also tried and enjoyed their blintzes and even the frozen lasagna. I love the touch of being able to see them making some of their dishes in the back too.“

“Love the new vibe at Pronto Café! The new management really stepped it up — fresh décor, super clean, and the coffee tastes so much better now. You can tell they care about quality. The atmosphere feels welcoming and cozy. And seriously, Jimmy is the bestest! Always friendly, fast, and makes the best coffee. Definitely my new favorite spot at 790 Bay!“

“Try something new is worth it in this restaurant.“
“We passed by Sushi & Bento on the way to the St Patrick subway station on Dundas to catch the Rogers Cup (ATP tennis) at the Aviva Center. After spending a tiring 6 hours watching the tennis matches, we decided to pick up takeout on the way home. Ordered a couple of the teriyaki chicken bento boxes at $12.95 each. Back at the hotel, we were quite surprised to find a lot food. The boxes consisted of a miso soup, a small salad, 6 large pieces of California roll, 2 pork gyozas, 5 pieces of tempura (2 prawns, 1 piece each of brocolli, sweet potato, & squash), a small scoop of white rice, a large serving of sliced up chicken (the equivalent of 2 thighs). Although we both weren't able to finish eating all of our dinner due to the large volume of food, I would recommend eating at his establishment.“

“This is my go-to veggie burger in the city - never never disappoints! Beats the veggie patties at Rosie's, Shake Shack, fast food places obviously. The veggie patty is juicy and flavourful, and the crispy cheddar is my guilty pleasure.
I used to find the fries quite oily but they've grown on me. Better than the wedge salad.“
“This place is doubtless one of the best restaurants in the area. Anytime I visit this place I am extremely satisfied. They keep their high standard service and the topmost level of food they give. You always win with this place. Highly recommended.“
“Has to be one of the best tasting Poke Bowl I have had!! So tasty and filling!!! As well great amount of Torched Tuna in the large bowl.“
“yes the ramen and the udon noodles may have been more expensive than their downtown equivalent but these were very well done, with a broth that had a good layering of flavours, served quick and hot. Compared to other places at Pearson I would be pleased to eat here again - actually given the quick and friendly service and the fact that I really enjoyed my meal, I'd be happy to go back even if it were in downtown.“

“The amount of food you get for the price is outstanding. I got the shredded chicken mild spicy and it was soooooo tasty. I could only finish one half. I loved the touch of sweetness against the bit of spicy. So worth the trip to Chinatown! Didn't know it also came with some kind of red bean & taro soup. It was nice to settle the spicyness of the crepe.“
