Thamel Kitchen + Bar offers a fantastic atmosphere with live music, karaoke, and an energetic, fun vibe. The food is absolutely amazing and delicious, very close to Nepali taste with a bit of Western influence. Dishes like the Chicken momo, Chatpate, Mustang Alu, and mutton bhutan are highlighted as outstanding or really good. The restaurant provides a huge variety of food options at reasonable prices with right portions.

The drink menu is wide and even better, featuring amazing cocktails and shots like margaritas and the lemon drop shot martini, though some beers and cocktails were occasionally unavailable. Service from the servers and bartenders is described as very nice, helpful, attentive, accommodating, and top notch. While the karaoke is fun, service in the karaoke room can be lacking and technical issues may occur. Overall, it is a highly recommended place for a great time with friends.
