The Fish Store & YuNes' Sandwiches

Had the catch of the day fish tacos with wild salmon and added avocado. Veggies were crisp and fresh and there was a good portion of grilled fish on them. The chowder is dairy free which I appreciate, but still nice, thick and flavourful. They had complimentary sticks of gum which was a thoughtful detail. Seating is outdoor only and quite limited as they seem to have mostly takeout orders.

Such a cute fish shop that really reminded me of costal seafood restaurants. Run by very sweet people who give recommendations. Had the catch of the day which was snapper with brown rice for ~$19 with added avocado. Portion was decent and fish was soft and fresh. Definitely a nice spot for a quick lunch on their patio.

Tastes good. The salad size is small for the price though. The value of the sandwich is better. Will return.

We had the Black Cod sandwich and it was one of the best sandwiches I've had (and this neighbourhood has a lot of amazing sandwiches). The fish was tender with spices, garlic, and fresh lettuce & tomatoes pairing very well. The staff was very nice as well, serving us some tea while it was a slightly cold day. Come over and give this place some love!

Absolutely DELICIOUS must try their shrimp.

A simple, yet fluffy bun sandwiches fillets of grouper, grilled to perfection for a flaky and tender texture and seasoned beautifully with herbs and pepper.

The quantity of the fish in the sandwich is low.. kind of expensive for a sandwich

I was driving through Toronto today and stopped for a late lunch at The Fish Store with a friend and could not have been happier. Our cards declined since we were across international lines, and my cash was $7 short of the total for our meals, but Philip told us not to worry about it and invited us in (mind you, this is not a dine-in restaurant). He served us tea and was exceedingly kind throughout the whole experience. The grouper with brown rice was, no exaggeration, the best meal I’ve had in months. Cannot recommend enough (get the spicy bbq sauce)

Amazing varieties of fresh fish restaurant. Fish lovers will love this place. Korean couple have been running this place for many decades and their attention to the details is amazing. You can have any kind of fish with sandwich or rice or wrap, you name it. I don’t live in this neighborhood but I travel to eat their food whenever I feel like fish lunch. I am a huge fan and will continue to support their business in the future.🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
