We are never disappointed and get to Uncle Tony's whenever we are in that end of the city. Friendly! Attentive! Delicious Food!
Our party of three happened to come across this restaurant on our trip to Toronto and are so glad we did. We have such a yummy Italian meal, the food, service and atmosphere are thumbs up. The grilled calamari, margarita pizza and chicken parmigiana were especially good. My husband had the 3 course set meal and enjoyed every bite!

Best food in town
Always a good option for a lovely meal before a show or game. The food is delicious and arrives quickly and the service is great. Friendly vibes and welcoming atmosphere.
Relaxing, unpretentious restaurant with great food and friendly service. We love to go there for group outings.
I visited this lovely restaurant while in Toronto for a trade show and what a wonderful surprise. It's a small and intimate restaurant with a lovely atmosphere and wonderful service. I have some food allergies and theu were very accommodating and able to adjust almost any menu item to suit.
The food was so delicious I went back again twice for din er. Each time I tried a different dish and the taste was wonderfully authentic, fresh, and full of flavor. If you are looking for fresh made pasta full of flavor....this is the place to go.

Great food. Great atmosphere. Good prices. Great place to eat if you're catching a show at the Scotia Bank area or Rogers centre.

Our group of four had a good experience overall at Uncle Tony's. After we arrived and I explained that we had a reservation, the server left for a minute before returning and showing us to our table. There are only a handful of tables inside, and the sound levels are very manageable because of it. It was refreshing to be able to have a conversation at dinner without yelling. I do wish that the server had been a little more friendly and maybe even talkative, as I did feel a little as though I was inconveniencing him just with our presence. There is also a bit of a slow pace when waiting for the bill, but I suspect this is because he was alone for the most part. Everyone in my group was pleased with the taste of their meals, we ordered the Penne Pollo Pesto, Fat Tony's Pizza, Pizza Funghi (Bianca) and the lasagna, along with Bruschetta, Fresh bread and a Créme Brulée. We also ordered a few sodas and one beer. Unfortunately, there is only a wine list for beverages, and we didn't want to be a bother asking questions or for other options, so we figured ordering what we knew was easiest. The only thing is that the menu and prices don't exactly line up with the one listed here on open table, so be sure to plan for this and know that bread is a paid item, not included like at many other restaurants, but it is delicious. Overall we loved the atmosphere, the food was delicious and the location can't be beat (Be sure to check out the cute little parkette and unique water fountain across the street!)
Always good! One of our favourite spots every time we come to T.O. Everything on the menu is great! Love this place. 5 stars!
food was sub par at best and way too overpriced. however that’s not even my main quarrel with this establishment. the owner may be the most arrogant condescending person i have ever encountered in my entire life, as you can see by the less than respectable responses he has left on other negative reviews of the restaurant. the restaurant is not worth your time.

Restaurantji Recommends
What a fantastic experience! Delicious food, great service and excellent wine. The decor is so cute and classic Italian. We loved it. I definitely will come back.
We ordered 2 pizzas, one of them was literally 3/4 size of the other. When asked about it, the owner/manager gave lame excuses like bcoz it doesn't have tomato sauce, so it doesn't stretch!
Would not recommend going here. So many better places nearby.

We walked by so many times over many years. The wax candles by the windows always caught my eyes. And wefinally walked in and had a meal
It’s not a big restaurant. Uncle Tony’s give you a family run restaurant feel. This is one of the neighborhood restaurants still standing in St Lawrence Market area after witnessing changes in the area
We have not read any reviews before we walked in. Frankly, I have not seen a red and white checkered table cloths for a very long time. The first impression was like “back to the future”. We ordered from the prix fixe menu
bruschetta. Very good
Nana meet balls. Good
Lamb chop. It was a tasty grilled meat dish but I forgot I can’t eat it without using hands. I personally don’t like green bell peppers. I would trade that with baby carrots and add some color in the mixed veggies
Tiramisu. Excellent
Overall dinning experience is great.
The owner seemed to have a straight face at first but he is actually quite a talkative and approachable person. We enjoyed the conversation very much.
It’s located in a great tourist area. Maybe a charcuterie board and tasty wine would be ideal for a break while visiting

Not a great experience.

Food was ok.
Service was very weird.
Server kept hovering around the table and looking at us from the back area.
Place was completely empty
Probably wouldn't eat here again

Uncle Tony's is one of those rare restaurant opportunities that are slowly disappearing in our larger cities. On top of the exquisite food, the owner goes above and beyond to make every guest feel special. Time and time again we return and are never disappointed.
