I recently visited Uncle Tony’s and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience from start to finish. I planned to share a pizza, but the server told us there would be an extra charge just to share, which immediately felt off and should have been a red flag.

We ordered the arancini, and it was terrible (frozen). The sauce was completely tasteless, and the breading was burnt. When the pizza finally arrived, it was just as underwhelming. It tasted like a frozen pizza made with low-quality ingredients, yet it came with a high-end price tag.

We also tried the hot chili olive oil, which was completely bland. I couldn’t even detect any chili in it. For the first time ever, I couldn’t finish my pizza. I genuinely felt sick after we left.

This was a very disappointing meal, and I won’t be returning.

Food was okay but for its price, it’s not worth paying for. Regret coming here for lunch last week and definitely not going to visit this place again.

Its an overpriced place serving average food with portion size not sufficient for a bird and if you share it they will add extra charges. Its a mandatory tipping place even for the shitiest service you can get. Please check your bill they might add the Tip without even asking you please refer the other reviews.. we made a mistake and ate all of the crappy food presented to us as we did not intend to waste food .. instead we should have left the crappy food for him only to lick his own plates clean...

Didn't like the way the server treated us .. the food was ok not the greatest however they misbehaved and insisted us on tipping them forcefully.. unfortunately we would have tipped had we liked the food .. didn't want to waste the food hence finished it ...kindly keep your attitude to yourself ..also he says we licked the plates clean ... Pls be mindful of the words you use ..dear server..you maybe a dog..but we are humans ..we don't lick plates ..we eat in them..although I'm sure you eat in this fashion in your respective culture .. pls be respectful of customers who give honest feedback ..

Spent 36$ on a four slice pizza charged me a tip without letting me pick a tip. food was alright didn’t let a share a pizza who doesn’t let you share a pizza???? Never going back waste of time and money. Service was already bad before they charged me the tip I didn’t ask for.

I rarely leave bad reviews, but this place absolutely deserves it. First of all, the prices are INSANELY high for what you get. The pasta was forgettable, borderline bland, and the pizza was just okay. nothing you couldn’t get frozen from a supermarket for a fraction of the cost.

But what really pushed this from disappointing to downright terrible was the bizarrely uncomfortable experience. Our waiter kept circling our table and literally watched us eat, which made everyone at the table uneasy. It felt like we were being monitored rather than served.

PLUS they actually charged us $6 extra because two of us shared a pizza. That’s not a joke. A six-dollar “sharing fee.” On top of that, they automatically added a mandatory 20% tip to the bill, regardless of how the service actually was.

Between the mediocre food, the sky-high prices, the awkward hovering staff, and all the hidden charges, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. Definitely not coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone unless you enjoy overpaying for average food in an uncomfortable setting.

Uncle Tony kept circling our table while we were eating, which made the whole experience uncomfortable. On top of that, we were charged an extra $6 just to share a pizza. After receiving terrible service all around, a 20% tip was automatically added to our bill without any notice. Between the poor service, overpriced food, and uncomfortable atmosphere, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. I won’t be coming back, and I definitely won’t be recommending this place to anyone.

We often visit when in the city. Authentic Italian food, great portions and amazing service. The Owner serves us every time and always remembers us. This is a hidden gem. Highly recommend!

Go for the food! I had the pasta! Wonderful! The checkered tablecloths add to the experience.

In my opinion it's the perfect combination of fabulous food, atmosphere and service. It's my go-to. Cut to black.

Just the right mix of Italian style food, ambience, service. Uncle Tony's is a warm & comforting restaurant to enjoy a delicious meal with friends/family.

had asked for a booth but there was none available. Really enjoyed the food and service excellent. Was a set menu for Valentines just was very pricey $79.00 a person. Since we really thought the food was tasty so no complaints.

The lamb shank was delicious! My dining partner enjoyed the veal parma served with spaghetti. Tiramisu for dessert was tasty, albeit too much cocoa on top (inducing coughing!) Would return, love the candles in wine bottles, red & white checkered clothes & general decor. Intimate, not too noisy setting.
