We were at Woods last night before a show at Meridian Hall, and from the moment we walked in it was A++! They asked if we had a show, kept track of time, such a nice touch. The food was outstanding, really enjoyed the Elk Ragu. The atmosphere and ambience were wonderful. Will definitely be back! Thank you!!
We went to this restaurant on a Friday night and started out with cocktails in the bar while we waited for a table. The cocktails were very good. After we were seated we quickly placed an order because we had tickets to the Raptors game later that evening. Even though the restaurant was mostly empty at this point, we found ourselves waiting for well over an hour. Fantastic ambiance, the dining room is stylish and intimate. The menu is alright, the food is beautifully presented but tastes a bit generic.I still recommend Woods but I suggest to focus on cocktails and great atmosphere rather than on food. Make sure you make a reservation, the place is pretty small and fills up quickly.
