Amazing experience at Victoria Café! The service was outstanding from start to finish — warm, attentive, and very welcoming. The high tea service was beautifully presented, and the food was absolutely delicious. Everything felt thoughtful and well done, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing and enjoyable afternoon. Highly recommend and will definitely be back! ☕🍰
The food and service are great. The only draw back is Tea was served in a new expansive room. It has a lot of historic details but its big and beige which make it's less intimate than the room they used in the past.
Lovely experience having high tea in the big ball room. Was a little cool as the room was not packed so legs were a little chilly.
I took my two nieces ages 5 & 9 to tea. The staff was incredibly accommodating to children, speaking to them individually and making them feel special and grown up. We were seated in the main room as opposed to the smaller cafe room which I've experienced before. Personally I prefer the tea service in the smaller room but it was during the holiday season so I understand the need for alternative seating. We were seated almost in the corner which was great for us as my younger niece is at times a little loud (she's learning about being a lady) and we didn't want to disturb other clients. Top notch service, beautiful individual tiered arrangements for both girls, my nieces said they felt very fancy.
The best in Toronto. The dessert is more on the sweet side. Just hoping it would be less sugar.
The Nutcracker Tea experience was incredible. Everything was perfect - ambience, service, food.
The food was amazing. There was a lot of selection and we had to take some home. Would have loved more savoury bites but that's just my fussy palate. Overall it was really nice
My two friends took me for a birthday celebration. The food was excellent, the service flawless. I was given my own tower as the birthday lady. I felt like the queen! Our waiter, Bishwarup, was the best!

My wife and I celebrated her birthday with high tea and loved it! The ambiance was superb, the tea and associated food was fresh with beautiful presentation. Our server Dey was just outstanding! Dey went above and beyond by explaining everything that was brought out and always making sure our tea was acceptable. A lovely time was had by the two of us and we not only recommend it, we will be back!
To be honest, I was quite disappointed with the service. I had requested a vegetarian meal of one guest, and then reminded the server upon arrival, and he still brought meat sandwiches for that guest and then we had to wait almost 20 minutes for the vegetarian plate to arrive. Plus, we only had 1 napkin set for our table of 4 and asked for napkins for our 3 other guest and they were never brought; we eventually grabbed our own off a nearby table. We also ran out of milk and couldn't get the server's attention to get more. Really poor service for how much we paid for the afternoon tea experience. I wouldn't go there again.

I've had high tea at the King Edward before and it was lovely. Expensive, but lovely. This time however I was disappointed with the quality of the foods presented. My step-son and I both felt queasy later in the day and this seemed to confirm our suspicions that the foods were not as freshly prepared as we expected. The service was great as usual, it was just the food which lowered our experience.
The service and atmosphere here were good. The savoury food was decent, however the desserts were definitely lacking. Being a chocolate high tea, the chocolate desserts were disappointing and the scones were very dry.

Went for the annual chocolate afternoon high tea. Now they are forcing you to pay for the prosecco, even if you don’t drink alcohol. Also one little cup of clotted cream to be shared among 4 scones is ridiculous. At $95, they can afford to give everyone their own cream. Only $5 of the money actually goes to charity. Not sure I will be returning next year when feeling absolutely gouged.
The café is located incide the King Edward hotel the environment is elegant, nice and quiet, optimum for a tea experience.
The experience includes: tea, salad entrees and the sweets. You can chose from a variety of tea’s, for the entrees there is vegetarian option and the sweets are amazing. The presentation is great.
Everything was delicious, me and my friend enjoyed the tea experience and the waiter attention was great.
Definitely will come back again!!

Advertized as among the top 25 Afternoon Teas in the world this experience left much to be desired. Scones were cold, dry and crumbly. The sandwiches were just passable. Very tasty Lemon curd. Few desserts were tasty
