Amazing experience at Victoria Café! The service was outstanding from start to finish — warm, attentive, and very welcoming. The high tea service was beautifully presented, and the food was absolutely delicious. Everything felt thoughtful and well done, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing and enjoyable afternoon. The food and service are great. The only draw back is Tea was served in a new expansive room. It has a lot of historic details but its big and beige which make it's less intimate than the room they used in the past.
I took my two nieces ages 5 & 9 to tea. The staff was incredibly accommodating to children, speaking to them individually and making them feel special and grown up. We were seated in the main room as opposed to the smaller cafe room which I've experienced before. Personally I prefer the tea service in the smaller room but it was during the holiday season so I understand the need for alternative seating.
