“Hungry Human menu item are delicious and very filling. Easily splitable and you pick two sides. I skipped breakfast and had the item for lunch. I will be full till 6:00 pm at least. Very good.“

“As a tourist I came here looking for something different from a typical US diner and wasn't disappointed. They serve poutine in some of their breakfast meals, and their dark gravy was very delicious and unique.There are tons of options for milkshake, and the shake portion was huge and served directly in the shake machine cup. Blackberry shake was fine; a bit too sweet and fruit flavor not outstanding. Interior was lovely, clean and no frills and just I want to experience when going to a diner.“

“The washroom is rotally bad for a walker using person. Ther is no handicap stall & the toilet so low & no safery bars to help. I was helped by a stranger to stand up .Not acceptable“

“Above-par, hard workin' staff that still take a moment to chat you up while mixing 4 shakes and managing the take-out counter. Superhuman Service! Loved my Reuben so much I bought the tshirt in the hopes they'll give me staff rate on my next meal ;) Hearty portions so plenty left to share with a fellow hosteller. 5-Stars, thanks for the comfort food since Winterlude hot chocolates as a kid in the 80s. Best Nostalgia Diner in the City“

“I've been a patron of Fontenelle since I was a very young child. I'm 40 now and still come here for breakfast. When a restaurant lasts that long, you know they're doing something right. Great food, good prices, fabulous staff, and quick service. Keep up the great work.“
