“It’s the first time ordering from this amazing pizza shop. I was greeted with the positive energy from Mr. Daryoush. I was early for my pick up. I was offered with the complimentary peanut. We chat for 5-10 minutes. It’s like I know the guy for years. The pizza I ordered was “meat and mushrooms”. Let me tell you about the pizza . It’s the most delicious pizza I have ever had in Toronto in my opinion, I am picky about the food specifically Pizza., Anyway you won’t be disappointed. I can guarantee that. “Went to this restaurant for the first time 2 days ago. Ordered the kobediah kebab dinner. Service was friendly. Food was very flavorful, both the rice and chicken. Portions were very large! The only thing missing was some garlic sauce. The kebabs would taste awesome dipped in a bit of sauce.“

“I went to Koochini Restaurant & Bar at a friend's invitation. We visited on Saturday, and it was a fantastic experience. The DJs were excellent, the atmosphere was lively, and everyone was having a great time. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The beer, whisky, appetizers, and hookah were all excellent.
Most of the guests seemed to be of Iranian background, which gave the place a unique and vibrant atmosphere. If you enjoy hookah, this is definitely a great place to try it. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a fun night out.“

“I ordered the family pack for six. Overall, the food quality was good, especially the kebab and rice, which is why I’m giving 5 stars.

However, the Tahdig was disappointing. It tasted stale and was inedible, so I had to throw it away. Also, the soup portion was quite small and did not feel sufficient for six people.

Still, the kebab and rice were excellent, and I appreciate the quality of the main dishes.“

“I had been going there for years when I lived in Richmond hill. I’ve always enjoyed their food. I hadn’t been in quite a while due to illness and also I now live half an hour away. It’s a treat for me to be able to venture down for their delicious food. They’ve always had good service but it seems even better now than before. I love that they changed their takeout packaging and they switched to paper bags. They’ve changed up their salad which is nice as it’s really fresh. It’s my favourite place for Persian food.“

“After going to their yonge and weldrick location for many many years, I happened to be in north Richmond hill (yonge and king road) and saw this other location! What can I say, very friendly welcoming service, clean organized interior and very fresh quality meat. Prices are average compared to the other 500+ kabob restaurants in this area but Taftan seems to stand out simply because of their reputation and large portion sizes. Today I got the barg (filet mignon beef) combo with rice and a side order of a chicken leg skewer. And hey they even threw in free cans of pop, lots of butter packets for the rice, packets of sumac (that tangy but distinct middle eastern red spice), and a pita bread! I’ll be sure to return again.“

“I've eaten a lot of Koobideh in the GTA and this is definitely one of the best, especially at this $15 price point, which is one of, if not the least expensive. The only other comparable spot is Little House of Kebabs, which at $16.50 isn't as good of a deal (2 kebabs, only 1 tomato, rice, tahdig and thats it).
Here's what you get at Pars: 2 kebabs over lots of rice, butter, hot pepper, onions, 2 grilled tomatoes, lemon slice AND one of the best tahdig i've had, crunchy but not breaking any teeth.
This place ticks all the boxes for me: made to order in 10 mins, plenty of rice, and tahdig, which is not that common but separates the better establishments from the mediocre.“
