“Listen up vegans! The chef made us their gluten free pasta with tomato sauce, mushrooms onions and roast peppers. It was fantastic! They offered spicy or mild. We went for mild but I added red pepper flakes. It took a little longer but it was worth the wait! The chef also included a small taste of the bruschetta tomatoes on the side. Way better than I imagined in a mostly meat environment! $34 for 2 plates.
Vegetarian options: We opted for vegan. Had the gluten free penne - no different than other penne. It was a great dinner!“

“I’ve been here twice while visiting Orillia. I have some newly discovered dietary restrictions (gluten, dairy) so since then eating out has been a bit of a chore- especially since I’m still learning all of the sneaky things that contain gluten.
Both times I’ve been here I asked the staff for assistance and they have been super helpful in recommending dishes that meet my requirements, as well as offer substitute suggestions. The food tastes great and is faster than a lot of fast food places. I will be making a point of trying to stop in whenever I’m in town and need some lunch.“

A true hidden gem! Cozy, welcoming, and full of heart, this little spot serves the best homemade food I’ve had in ages. The Green salad was fresh and the homemade dressing light and flavourful. The beef short ribs were tender with rich, deep flavour, and the organic baked salmon is perfectly flaky, fresh, and the homemade dill sauce will make you want to lick your plate……literally! Friendly staff, generous portions and fair pricing. You’ll leave feeling like family.“
