In case it’s difficult to find — the Huether Hotel and Café 1842 are the same place.Favourite place to study. It’s hit the sweet spot of being warm + welcoming, not too loud but not too quiet, and nice beverages (their matcha isn’t too bad). They offer both breakfast and lunch/dinner dishes which is a plus too! We were visiting Waterloo to celebrate our son's 21st bday and decided to have lunch at Huether Hotel. We spoke to Sonja at the front who lead us upstairs to the dining area. We had an excellent lunch and then complimented with a slice of bday cake, on the house.As sincere thank you to Sonja and hotel staff who made our visit with our son a wonderful experience.Brian
