Waterloo Red Ginger Modern Thai + Viet Cuisine offers delicious food with friendly service. The restaurant features popular dishes like Pho and Pad Thai, along with unique options like Nasi Goreng. Their Khao soi is a flavorful and aromatic dish, though some find it a bit oily. The portions are large, and the service is fast and attentive. Customers praise the extensive menu, which includes all the classic Thai and Vietnamese dishes as well as some special items not commonly found elsewhere. Many mention that the food is consistently amazing and absolutely delicious, with some of the best calamari and highly recommended curry Pad Thai noodles. The staff, especially Annie, receives praise for being sweet and attentive, making the dining experience even better. Visitors also appreciate the well-portioned, flavorful dishes, good prices, and the cozy atmosphere enhanced by fresh flowers on the tables. The restaurant is seen as a hidden gem, often chosen for take-home meals, and many plan to return regularly, making it a favorite spot in the Waterloo Kitchener area.
