“This was our last stop during our self guided wine tour. We live in Kingston so the location was perfect to cover half the distance of our drive home. It was also a great place to have some wood-fired pizzas to finish the day. The smoke of the fire was the first thing I noticed. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We also discovered their delicious Sangria Spritz, a fruity mix that is really nice to drink with ice.”

“This is such an amazing gem of a bar! Cosy and warm atmosphere. The service is friendly and very knowledgeable. Once our drinks arrived, our server asked us how our first sips were. 😁 Love it. One guest ordered a red wine spritzer but they tinkered with it to elevate a simple drink. Mixologist came over to explain the drink and ask how it was. We will be back! Check out Russ and Co. in Picton or sister Bar Duchess in Wellington on your next visit to the County. 🙌”

“Dinner at Stella’s Eatery was an excellent experience. The service was fast and friendly, and the space felt cozy without being cramped. The charming decor added to the relaxed atmosphere.

We shared several dishes family-style: duck, fish, croquette, tomato salad, turnips, and mussels. Everything was fresh and flavorful, but the standout was the duck confetti—tender, rich, and perfectly cooked.

For dessert, the honey pie was rich and satisfying, while the rhubarb upside-down cake was light and airy.

Stella’s delivers on its farm-to-table promise with fresh ingredients, great service, and a welcoming setting. Highly recommend.”

“Miss Lily's is a local institution. This is a great place for a coffee, treats, and a chat. The coffee is very good and the baked goods are not to be missed. The staff are friendly. The cafe has ots of room and there is always much to see as you enjoy your coffee. This is one of my favourite local spots in Picton and is my go to local coffee shop.”

“Jordan was able to fix my wife’s bike after her ride where the brakes seized up and a tire blew. He repaired it on time and did only what needed to be done. We recommend him and will return for bike maintenance in the future and soon for the coffee/desserts!😎👍”

“My husband and I happened to be walking by the shop just after they'd closed and the owner saw me staring longingly in the window. She immediately unlocked the door, took out a tray of unsold sweets from the day, and insisted we take a cinnamon bun. She was so kind and we had a nice chat about the shop. The cinnamon bun itself was delicious - still sticky and soft, even at the end of the day!”

“We stopped by Slickers during our day trip to PEC in Picton, it's a must-visit if you're an ice cream lover. The handmade ice cream is so rich, creamy and full of unique local flavors if you're an explorer.
I had Maple Walnut since i'm a fan of nuts flavor, my bf had his go-to flavor Chocolate Peanut Butter. We both enjoyed it very much.

The store has plenty of space for people to lineup, staffs are friendly. Portion sizes are fair for the price.”

“Gorgeous settings, great service, beautiful place. It was the beers that were very disappointing unfortunately, not the establishment. The IPA (citrussy) was neither hoppy nor citrussy with no finish and the Lime beer was flat with little taste. So, if you go, and I recommend that you go, try different ones.”

“We had 3 couples celebrating our anniversaries in The County and decided on the Barley Room for super. My wife had stopped in around noon asking if they could set aside a table for 6, knowing they didn't take reservations. The woman she spoke to said shouldn't be a problem if you come before 5:00. We came before 5:00 and sadly, nothing was set aside. The woman my wife spoke to was their and pretended she knew nothing. and that's when ADAM came to the rescue. Adam asked if we were okay in the dining room and took us to a table for 6 - nice bright area over looking the garden. Adam chatted with us, heard our story, took our drink orders and looked after us. Took our picture as well. Food orders came next and service was excellent. Everyone enjoyed their meal with Irish Shepard's pie leading the compliments. Adam came back with the dessert menus and patiently waited as we tried to make up our minds. Adam saved the day for us. His attention, his communication with us as well as knowing when to leave us alone is to be commended. If you are here and Adam is working, ask to be in his section. 5 Star Service.”
