“My fiance and I came here two nights in a row and in both nights we were greeted with amazing hospitality. The staff at R&C really know their drinks and give on-point beverage suggestions based on your taste preferences and how you are feeling. They're really chill, and know how to make you feel right at home.

I ordered a cocktail with eggwhite and something similar to an old fashioned while my partner got the daily juice and Ray Ray. All the drinks were spectacular.

The vibes are also immaculate. The old, rustic interiors and dim backlighting brings you back to a different time.

“Very nice cafe with a great selection of drinks and sweet and savory food. We had breakfast here and enjoyed the pleasant hustle and bustle. Staff is really great, very friendly and always smiling. They are constantly serving and yet create a relaxed atmosphere.
Direct access to the bookstore invites you to read and linger.
It's a shame we're just passing through, otherwise this would be my new breakfast place.”

“If you are in the area you should visit, relaxed and comfortable atmosphere with a friendly staff. Their Cream Ale is one of the best I've had across the province. It's one of those places you wish you had in your back yard.1 star subtracted because they just sold out of the beer i was looking for ;)”

“Great to visit for a treat. Happy to see some vegan options (6 flavours of vegan gelato) for my partner and I to enjoy. When we visited there was a line but the friendly staff moved through it quickly. Would recommend for vegans and non-vegans alike! Found a nearby bench to sit on outside (no indoor seating), and enjoyed the pralines and cream and early gray and lavender flavours!”
