“Food is amazing. Been here multiple times. Seems owned by local. And taste wise it’s much better than the Naan and Kabob chain. Breads are made fresh to order. Lots of options to choose from. Personally we loved their kabobs than the shawarma. They have a payment restriction though with only cash or debit if you order directly. But this also let them keep the cost of food on the lower side.“

“Fair prices comfortable seating there's a decent washroom and the food is pretty good prices are fair there's free parking and also even if you eat there they don't even let you pay tip there's no option to do it they just tell you to tap and it's the price plus HST so the price is actually cheaper than other restaurants if you're eating inside .“

“Ordered takeout from kabab Shoppe in Pickering, and it was a great experience. The food was ready in about 20 minutes. We ordered the Chicken Breast, Tandoori Chicken, and Veal Tenderloin bowls.

Each bowl was full of flavour and well-balanced. For sides, we chose rice, fries, and salad. The Tandoori Chicken and Veal Tenderloin were especially tasty—more tender and flavourful than the Chicken Breast.

The place was quiet since most people ordered takeout, and the ambience was okay. Overall, it has become one of my favourite takeout spots in Pickering.“

“I recently visited Kandahar Kabab in Pickering, drawn by its reputation for flavorful Afghan cuisine. The menu offers a wide variety of grilled meats, rice platters, and traditional sides, with standout items like the Chicken Tikka Kebab, Chapli Kabab, and Lamb Shank. The portions were generous, and the meat was well-seasoned and cooked to perfection. The Mango Lassi was a refreshing complement to the meal. However, the experience was a bit inconsistent. While some staff were friendly and attentive, others seemed overwhelmed, especially during busy hours. Wait times for food can be long—even when the restaurant isn’t crowded. Huma was the best! always smiling and ready to serve customers. The ambiance is casual, leaning more toward a takeout vibe than a dine-in destination. Prices are on the higher side for the portion sizes, but the flavor and authenticity of the dishes can make it worthwhile“

“We were there at the closing time right before 9:30 PM in the start. One employee was hesitate to let us sit and eat, but after humbly request they lets eat with my family, which was touch our hearts and I appreciates. In the end one of the Employee give My Wife her birthday treat which was extraordinary special thank you so much.“
