The staff were friendly, quick, and made sure everything was fresh. The restaurant itself was spotless and well-maintained, making the whole experience even better. “1st time in Whitby. Came along this gem of a DONAIR place. Don't want to start a trademark battle w a common fast food chicken place but DOWN EAST DONAIRS are FINGER LICKING GOOD. Actually went back for more for a late nite snack, or a donair breakfast in the AM. Staff was friendly and fun to talk with while prepping food BOTH TIMES!!!!! In the words of a famous US leader, "WE SHALL RETURN".“

“We went in as a family of 8 plus 2 children and recieved amazing service! Not only was Randeep and his team efficient, but they didn't compromise on the quality of our burgers either. All of our burgers and sides were delivered to us as ordered and the staff was very pleasant!“

“This place is great. The owner helped me feed 40 kids up at the high school for the Christmas market at the last minute. He also gave me a discount on the food. All of the food was very good and the kids loved it. I highly recommend this location.“

“I went inside to order my food. I noticed the young woman made my burger incorrectly. It was really no big deal. However the manager replaced my burger and made it right! I have never been so impressed by customer service in a long time! For the amount of times my order is wrong and missing items its good to know some people still care about customer service !!!“

“It's the only branch that can understand what you ordered 😂unfortunately they don't have it .I ordered potatoe edges they didn't have it.I ordered crispy chicken or crispy Turkey sandwiches and the same they didn't have them too. It's place is so useful after a long distance you can't find anything in the road side drive from Montreal to Toronto.“
