“Blown away by the flavour and quality of the food! We started with the Deviled Eggs and Pork Tenders. The eggs were pretty good, but the Pork Tenders totally stole the show! Crispy on the outside, fall apart tender on the inside, and the Orange Crush BBQ sauce was to die for! I went with the Chef's Burger for an entree and it was the best pub burger I've had in Durham. Cooked to perfection, the burger patty itself was flavourful and not at all dry. I was super impressed with the pub fries too. While they're a pretty thick cut, they're light and crispy, seasoned with what I believe to be some sort of pickle seasoning? I couldn't get enough of them, they complemented the burger so well.My partner got the Brisket Dinner and we were both surprised at how reasonable the portion was. The veggies were fresh, the brisket was mouth wateringly tender and well seasoned, and the gravy was beyond good. The thing that surprised me most on the plate, though, were the potato and cheese croquettes. They were crispy on the outside, light and fluffy on the inside, and insanely delicious. I would eat an entire plate of them and still ask for more.Service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. This is hands down my new favourite date spot. 1000/10; can't recommend this place enough!P.s. no pictures because everything smelled and looked so good we practically inhaled the food before we even thought to take pictures“
“Friend and I rolled into this place on a whim. Was pretty centrally located for us. Aaron set us up in a booth near the window and was great. Polite and prompt. The beer on tap was on point and we got started with their Sunday wings and fries special. We had to try their spinach dip with tortillas and it was great! super delicious, I almost licked the bowl clean. You have an option of the dip with tortillas, pita chips or both. The ambience was great, plenty of places to sit without feeling overcrowded. plenty of parking and access to public transit (DRT and GoBus stops are a short walk away).we spent about $13 each on the food and $7 for every pint (or whatever it was) on beer. Worth it.Vegetarian options: Some decent veggie options. If you’re here to get a snack or something to nibble with your drink, it’s decent. If you want something hearty like lunch or dinner, I’m not sure.Parking: They share the plaza with a couple of other restaurants. Plenty of parking but it could get full if there are a lot of customers.“
“This is the best sushi I have ever tasted by far, and I have been visiting many sushi restaurants over the years. The food was beyond satisfying and tasty, and their service was quick and very welcoming:) If you’re ever in the Durham area and love sushi, this will be the place to go? I highly recommend their pressed sushi, I had both the salmon and unagi one, both were exquisite! I’d give more stars if I could. Definitely will be back very soon!!Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options and tasty tofu bowls.Parking: It’s located in the courtyard with plenty of free parking.Kid-friendliness: If you have kids that love sushi as mine do, then this is the place! There were many kids when I visited ?“
“I highly recommend this restaurant! It’s a little piece of a holiday for the evening ! The staff is amazing , gorgeous atmosphere , food was AMAZING and the Margs were to die for ! So-Cal menu tapa style is honestly the way to go - a little bit of everything ! It’s a quaint place so I was suggest to book a reservation:)“
