We recently relocated to Whitby from Toronto and have been searching for similar go-to spots. Village Bake Shop turned out to be the comparable bakery we've been seeking, reminiscent of San Remo in Etobicoke.Although I only sampled a few donuts, they rival the quality of those from San Remo, for the most part. I arrived here after driving for about 2 hours. I thought it was a place that only sold bread, but they sell a lot of different things. The workers are very friendly and welcome guests with bright smiles.I bought the most delicious donuts in Canada!!!I was worried that there might be a maximum purchase, but I ended up purchasing the quantity I wanted.I've never had such delicious donuts in over 10 years of living in Canada!!I hope many people know about this place~Thank you so...read full review
