“I have now been to 639 four times and each experience has left me thinking, "See you again soon!" The first time was to celebrate the 30th anniversary of our first date. We went with friends and ordered from the menu at that moment in time. 639 creates a menu which incorporates local Oxford County ingredients such as fresh produce and Gunn's Hill Cheese. The second time was an "All In!" night for us. On our 28th wedding anniversary, we thoroughly enjoyed the Tasting Menu AND the Chef's Table where we sat at a window into the kitchen and were blown away by not just the delicious food but the culinary choreography and comedy of their kitchen staff. The third time was a causal dinner with two friends after we had donated blood on a Thursday night. We decided on the spur of a moment to go and I called to get a table 15-minutes before we arrived. Last night we were fortunate to get one of their last spots for Oxford Eats. This promotion, in partnership with Tourism Oxford, was a delicious way to celebrate the end to a very long January. “Coming to this location for weeks now. Ellie is the most personal and professional bartander I've had the pleasure of dealing with. I would make the 2 and a half hour drive anyway just to be served by her. The other highlight of my day would be when the wonderful Tristan is working. She is a bundle of joy and such a pleasure to talk to. The ladies are top notch bartenders and a pleasure to talk to“

“It was nice and the food was good. Was not impressed with the menu. Totally different menu online and the prices were cheaper. When the waitress brought the menu, it was one page front and back and no listing of drinks. When the food was served everyone got theirs at different times. The only thing that was brought out together was the french fries n the poutine. My daughter finished her putine and she brought out my burger, when I was about half way done on that, my grandsons sgahetti was brought out. When he was about half way trhough that my daughters sandwich was brought out. Do they not know how to cook the food at the same time , so it is brought out top everyone at the same time instead of making 4 trips. Then we sat and waiting over 10 minutes, thinking that the waitress would at least brin the bill to the table. So we got up after 10 min and paid on my way out.“

“Once you get Marks, you don't go anywhere else!! I love the lobby full of plants(im a plant lady)...and that's not even talking about the food lol! Best chicken balls ever and the chicken fried rice is amazing!!! Highly recommend...and the owner and staff are super friendly, which is not as common anymore so I will spend my money happily here lol!“
