“Last night my husband and I had our very first meal at David’s Restaurant. It was incredible! The ambiance, the view and the food made our first experience memorable. We both tried raw oysters for the first time. Ordered 4 (2 each), just to try, ended up ordering 8 more. Absolutely delicious. The wait staff were very friendly! Would definitely go again! “This is our second visit but our family has been countless times and everytime the staff are amazing, the food is hot and on the table faster than you would think is possible and even with the insane speed of service the food quality doesn't suffer at all. Tonight we had some perch meals, a battered cod meal a kits perch and fries as well as a kids chicken fingers and fries. I had the mushroom soup which was very good and I love that they added Celery and carrots into the mix. I also had the battered cod which appeared to be your standard beer battered cod but the batter was crispy on the outside and yet light on the inside without the typical greasy puddle you usually find.This restaurant has is a historical part of Port Dover since the 1940's and its still going strong.This is definitely a must eat here location when you are in Port Dover.Kudos to the staff, Rose is always a delight!“

“A hidden jewel in the beautiful town of Vittoria.Aside from the top shelf food, the ladies working there have a charm of their own.It's a "go to" if you ever find yourself in Norfolk County.Just ask Jonny Harris from the TV show Still Standing, as he paid this restaurant and town a visit some years ago.I highly recommend eating here!!“
“Excellent bacon peanut butter burger. Was very thick 8oz burger homemade. My new favourite burger. Will have to try other burger options. They also have fantastic nachos supreme. My partner loves their fish & chips. We have been there maybe 6 times. Always very happy with our choices. We will definitely continue to dine there“

“Tonight, we tried the Fish and Chips entree for take-out. We can honestly say it was the best fish and chips we have ever had. It came with fresh coleslaw, tartar sauce, and lemon slices. The fish was delicious, fresh, tender, moist, thick, dense, and was a very generous size. It had a perfect breading to fish ratio. The breading was beautifully crisp and cooked to a nice golden brown. It was not overly greasy at all. The fries were delicious and crispy. We absolutely will be ordering this again.“
“Food was good and reasonable prices. Service was terrible with attitude. We were seated and no waitress for 10-15 mins. Their phone number was posted on the window….so I proceeded to order over the phone. While doing so, a waitress appeared..said nobody told her she had a table to serve. She was not friendly at all. Probably won’t return there…The Beachhouse for me from now on. We won’t try any new restaurants in dover any more.“
