Wow! There is nothing like this in Ashland. Casual and delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner. Wonderful pastries. Great drinks. What really blew us away is how there’s no seed oils, they make their pastries with beef tallow, and they have a Berkey for water! This place is much more of a cafe than a restaurant, exactly what the plaza needs. Great vegetarian options. All organic. Comfortable seating. Specialty Lattes. Wonderful Gelato! We will be back time and time again
Okay, I am 100% Italian, so drinking a latte under the sultry gaze of Sophia Loren is molto bene. I know Cafe Lumina is new and they will evolve. The staff there seem friendly and hard working. And the location in the plaza is ideal for foot traffic, and the outside eating area adjacent to the creek is a wonderful ambiance. Here are a couple suggestions..... Just driving by Cafe Lumina, I said, “I want to go there!” Then the cashier greeted us with the biggest smile, best vibes and so kind with ideas for food allergies. I got the best grass fed steak of my life and asked if they were open for breakfast… THEY ARE!
