This restaurant is superb. The atmosphere is casual/relaxed, but the food is hardcore. Chef Josh is an umami master. We travel out of our way for this unique and ever changing yet consistently delicious dishes
Chef Josh and his team know how to make your experience unforgettable. The attention to detail in every dish, and the way they guide you through the courses makes you feel as though you’re going on this culinary journey with them from start to finish.
I love the humbleness, yet layers of complexity within each dish, starting right away with the tea of seaweeds. Particular favorites were the “snacks” and Uku. Seafood and foraged foods forward offerings. I’m blown away what chef Dorcak and his team can do with such a small kitchen. Two induction tops, small convection oven, a sous vide bath, & small outdoor grill. No range, no griddle, no full size oven. Minimal. They are either very talented, or straight magical....
