They see you come in and we’ll tell you hit the bell when you’re ready and you’re thinking I’m ready now. I know what I want and then you hit the bell and I can’t hear it because they have really loud Mexican music playing.
And the scones are way too sweet now

This place has rats
Loved that the place was as basic as could be with small area in front to sell a large variety of unique bread and the rest being the actual working bakery.

Rude attendant!!! Zero customer service. I drove from Eagle Point to try the bakery, never again, never, ever again. I choose to spend my money at establishments that earn my business. Additionally, I work in the hospitality industry…they utterly blew it with me and everyone I know.
Freshly baked bread and pastries. This is the best bread and so many varieties. Their bread is even sold at Saturday Market in Crescent City. My only regret is no gluten-free options.

Bread was good, but the grumpy guy on Sunday morning shouldn't be interacting with customers. He was rude to another customer and not helpful.

I tried a cranberry scone. I asked the baker if there were cranberries inside the scone as well as on top, and he said yes. There was not a single cranberry inside. This was the largest, heaviest, driest and least tasty scone I have ever had.

they make a wide variety of healthy and delicious baked goods. i always buy their breads at the grocery store too. i’m old now and lack teeth (no dentures either) so i have to stick to their soft things, such as the sliced sourdough. it’s the real deal, nothing in it you wouldn’t use in your own kitchen.

Lots of offerings in this bakery. There was no one at the counter though you could hear workers in the back. There was a bell and instructions to ring when ready. Once I decided what I wanted I rang the bell and got a yell back in response. The grumpiest person came up to assist. There is a sign on the discount rack that says “$1 extra to slice” which was fine with me. When I asked for it to be sliced he told me it would be $1 extra and I said fine and he proceeded to make the biggest physical reaction to feeling that was such a huge imposition. Ha! The apricot scone and apple turnover were delicious. Whole wheat sourdough (sliced!) is good. There’s lots of great bakeries around, I’m not sure I’d return to this one.

Never been disappointed. Everything's delicious. The staff is friendly. The building inside could use a touch up cause it looks like it is not well kept, that's just the atmosphere not the truth. It is after all a working bakery.

I walked in and it was dark and I heard foreigners talking in the background. I did not smell fresh bread cooking. Then I walked out. No one was attending to the front entrance customers. I understand they deliver locally and would love to get a fresh loaf of sweet bread if they make that kind there. I miss that bread from San Francisco.

Went in a bit after noon on a Saturday and got a couple items. Walnut brownie was too old, top was stale but the interior tasted great so buy earlier in the day. Pizza is the best thing to get here.
