“Get the fish-wich. I felt an almost childlike nostalgia for the best fish sandwich I had up to this point - knowing this was better. Simple and just right.

Unfortunately (post Astoria 10k) they were way behind. So tables became very competitive. They need shades for that blazing sun. And honestly- the chowder was ho-hum. But…that fish-wich….“

“As others have said, the dough, sauce, and pizza ingredients are outstanding. It's a place that clearly prioritizes quality. However, what I wanted to write about was the service. I was more than an hour late in picking up my order due to circumstances beyond my control, and they made sure to hold my order past their close time, and keep it as fresh as possible. This was beyond my expectations, and very much appreciated!!“

“The Franz Bakery outlet store has been here for years and I often shop here on my trips to Astoria. They have a wide variety of discounted and day old Franz bakery items - very inexpensive! They also offer senior discounts. The store employees are always super nice. I sure recommend it, especially for families on a budget and need to stretch their dollars..“
