“On the way back home from grocery shopping at the Astoria Food Co-op, I was craving a good, juicy burger.

Since my roommate had eaten a burger from there the other night and it looked delectable, I was craving one of their burgers.

It didn’t seem to matter that I just spent quite a few dollars on wonderful food. I wanted that burger. Badly. Enough to brave the traffic going back home.

I ordered a Swiss cheeseburger with the works: sauce made of ketchup and mayo, onion, lettuce, tomato and there may have been pickle on it, I’m not sure.

I ordered regular fries and brought it all home.

OMG…! The cheeseburger was juicy, thick and altogether yummy… the french fries were probably the best I’ve had in many years.

I forgot to take a photo of the food because I was hungry and couldn’t wait to eat it.
I plan to go back at least once a week… it was that good.“

“We had a wedding to attend and stayed over in Astoria. On our way back to hotel we stopped and picked up a pizza. WOW. Absolutely delicious! Stop by and have a slice or a whole pizza. You won’t be disappointed. This is a must stop if you’re in Astoria.“

“Amazing bar. Fairly priced (strong) drinks, Jell-O shots, and KARAOKE! The karaoke is some of the best I’ve ever been to. The talent in this city is kinda crazy but you also have some interesting characters that sing a wide variety of songs. It's SUPER AWKWARD to have your servers bring the bill on a kiosk, stand in front of you while you're paying and say “It's just going to ask you a few questions” referring to the tip section. Then you're given three options, starting at 18%. Please stop doing this—it ruins what is otherwise a good experience. With that said, the beer is fantastic, the pizza is very good and the overall vibe of the place is lively. A fun place to hang out. Service is spotty. It's the “hipster service” for the most part, but that's what you get on the Coast.“
