“We went today (Sunday) and they were crazy busy. The line was out the door. We found the only empty table available, out front. It took us 30 minutes just to place our order. We bought 3 boxes of pastries to go, then a breakfast sandwich, breakfast platter, a coffee and two chai teas. We arrived at 11:15 and didn’t receive our food until 1pm. They did warn us that it would be a long wait for our food, and they were all hustling. Now let me tell you, the food was AMAZING! The first bite of my raspberry pastry, and I didn’t care how long I had to wait for the rest of my food. The ginger chai was unique and delicious. When I decided to add a salad to my order, because breakfast was long gone, we were still waiting and now it was lunch time… the chef came out and apologized and wouldn’t let me pay for it. Get the house salad! Just do it! The pickled shallots, the sun dried tomatoes, oh my goodness. It was an explosion of flavor and like no salad I’ve ever had before. SO GOOD. The grilled cheese and egg breakfast sandwich. Pure comfort food! It’s oozing cheese and well trust me, just order it. My husband enjoyed his breakfast platter and the potatoes…..DELICIOUS ! The strawberry lemonade is probably the best I’ve ever tasted. Light and refreshing with a bit of carbonation. My only suggestion would be to not be training a new cashier on such a busy day. But, everyone was very helpful and friendly and did I mention that the food is PHENOMENAL!“
