We ate here probably 12 years ago. It was one of the best fish 'n chips experiences we ever had and decided to try it again as we passed thru town. Same! Fish tacos, fish 'n chips (salmon), and fish 'n chips (rock fish). Perfectly cooked, large portions, served hot, and better priced than many fish 'n chips along the coast. It's hard to maintain excellence over such a long period of time, but they've done it!
Had not planned on stopping here but decided to try it since the lines at some of the other local eateries were super long. I ended up not being disappointed! The fish & chips were very good and came with a unique cranberry slaw. The tartar sauce wasn't too bitter and was also good on the fries, which had a great mix of seasonings on them. You get a generous helping of food, too; we had a good amount of leftovers to serve as a snack later in the day, and the fish actually reheats...read full review

Fish n chips are large nugget size, not a filet cut. It was fried to perfection; not over fried or under cooked. Fries were good. I also had the 12 oz new England clam chowder, and that was really, really good! As an Alaskan, I know what good chowder taste like and this was really good!
