Amazing food. Plentiful portions. Great value. Indian restaurants can be hit and miss, but Swagat is upper echelon, a hidden gem. I had the goat thali lunch. It was wonderful! I may pay for eating so much dairy later, but it will have been worth it. I can’t wait to come back for the lamb samosas.
How Indian food should taste, swagat is the bar other Indian food can be measured against.
A restaurant seldom excels at both south and north Indian dishes, swagat manages to do so with ease, keeping the unique flavors seperate.
An absolute Jem, hats off to the chef!

Swagat: “worth the extra mile”
It was 830pm and the desperation was palpable in the mist laden Powell’s parking lot. My husbo and I had eaten nothing but a paltry Clif bar that day, and in the wake of a hunger induced spat ten minutes prior, we had no choice but to act.
Even under the staggering weight of our expectations, Swagat fluttered gaily as a butterfly. The warm, lively restaurant was filled with happy guests. Our good feeling...
