I really enjoyed this cafe. I’m Dominican so it felt amazing to enjoy a good strong cafecito and some pastries. The croquettes were my favorite, as was the guava and cheese pastelito. The chicken papa rellena could use a little love as the chicken was dry and bland. I’d also love to see more filling in the pastries.

Super nice and informative barista. These are latin American coffee drinks that you order as they are. Experience a little bit of culture some time! Love the teddy 🧸

Like all great places they don’t stay the “hidden gems” long. It was bustling. We had to wait for a table and felt like we needed to eat quick to give others a place to sit. Coffee was good, tea wasn’t memorable. However, the food was very tasty and unique. I would go baked for any of the backed goods. So delicious!!

Great coffee, kind & friendly staff, and a fun pastry selection are what makes La Floridita PDX stand out among other coffee shops in the Portland Metro area. The vibes inside the shop are also superb, with many unique decorations and captivating books. I went during the morning, ordered a cafecito, and a beef pastelito. My barista recommended me a specific book, and I ended up looking through the whole thing.
Overall, 5/5 for coffee and vibes.

Drinks and pastries were fire 🔥, super good! Only thing, the young dude at the counter was kinda a downer. No “hey what’s up” or even a smile, just felt cold. Kinda kills the vibe when you’re trying to have a good time. A little más buena onda up front would make the whole spot match the quality of the food.
