They only negative was the carrot cake it was dry and had no nuts even though we were told it had pecan's and their overall desert menu is boring.“

“We almost didn’t go in because we didn’t realize Urban Farmer is located inside a hotel. After taking the elevator up, we looked at each other wondering if we should turn around. We’re so glad we didn’t!!

From the moment we sat down, the service was exceptional. Our waitress was attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday, and she even offered to bring out a complimentary birthday dessert, which was such a thoughtful gesture (although we had to politely decline because we were absolutely stuffed!).

The food completely exceeded our expectation, every single bite was packed with flavor. The steak was cooked to absolute perfection, the vegetables were perfectly prepared, and the tomato salad was vibrant, and filled with herbs that made every bite delicious. But the real star of the meal was the cornbread….it was hands down some of the best we’ve ever had. We loved it so much we ordered a second serving!!

One thing we especially appreciated was that we never felt rushed. The pacing of the meal was perfect, giving us plenty of time to relax and enjoy the experience.

Overall, this was an exceptional dining experience from start to finish. We also learned they have a location in Philadelphia, much closer to home for us, and we’re already looking forward to visiting it. If you’re in Portland, don’t let the hotel location fool you….this place is absolutely worth it!“

He had every table full and then a big party(20) people waiting for their table getting drinks…I realize it’s hard to find people to work but you really need two people working in the bar. Thankfully we were patient and didn’t mind, but other people wouldn’t have been. Also the host took his time clearing a table for us…. He visited with another gal doing to go orders for 10 min. “We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Outback Steakhouse. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and genuinely taken care of.

The hostess was incredibly kind and welcoming. She opened the restaurant door for me before I even walked in, which was such a thoughtful gesture and made a great first impression. Our server was also exceptional. She was attentive, friendly, and professional. When she knelt down to take my order, I genuinely felt valued and cared for. It was a small gesture, but it made a lasting impression and demonstrated the level of service she provided throughout our meal.

And the food was excellent. Everything was delicious, fresh, hot, and beautifully prepared. Our meals came out within a very reasonable amount of time, especially considering how busy the restaurant was. The quality of the food, presentation, and portions were all outstanding.

I also want to recognize Carlos. He was absolutely incredible throughout our experience. His professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine care for the guests really stood out. He made sure everything was running smoothly and that we were having a great experience. It is clear that he takes pride in what he does and truly cares about providing excellent service.

“The employees at this location are cool and food has been tasting better since I've noticed a new manager . Well, not new but newer. I forgot his name but he always wears a suit and his hair (braids) up in a bun. Very nice and professional with customers and staff alike.. He has always made sure our experience is good..I I work in hospitality as well, so I appreciate good food, staff and an approachable manager!“
