Light crispy with food flavor.
Would be a 5 if it wasn't so greasy.
This was the 8oz option. Big portion.
One of the best, regardless.

Wish I could have tried their fish, but the guy was extremely rude and very agitated with our presence. Don’t need great customer service, but just want to be treated like I’m a human being living on this Earth.

Been wanting to try this place for 2 years because of the rave reviews. Day after Christmas, brought family from Arizona, and we all agreed to try this place. Closed. Very disappointed. However the Gyro place next door was fantastic! Will give this place another visit soon, and will update my review.

Best fries in the cartel and the other food is pretty good. Used to be super greasy however but something changed and its nowhere near as bad as it was a year or so ago. The fellow who works the cart is pretty quick. Prices are spot on and the haggis is fantastic.

Large portions. Batter was a little thick, Haddock was tasty. Chips needed salt or seasonings, a bit too thick for me.
Great service, adorable food cart.

Came here because my wife has been wanting me to try it. It's just not great. My Mahi Mahi was average...I've made better at home. Wife said there was WAY more batter on her fish than the last time she had it... trying to increase the profit margin? She ended up taking most of the batter off, said it was too greasy. Chips (fries) were not very crispy but tasted okay. Two orders of F&C, two sodas, four extra tarter sauces, 20% tip...about $55. Most I've ever spent at a food cart for two. If you have a good spot for F&C, just keep going there.
BG Food Cartel, the food court where TFS is, however was fantastic. We were able to eat our food undercover, out of the rain, with heaters to keep us warm, football on the TV, beers on tap, and nice conversations with other patrons. There's about 20 or so food carts, so you'll definitely find what your looking for.

Hot dang! We stopped by here after getting a hankering for fish and chips. I can’t have gluten, but my spouse can. We ordered the haddock in GF and the halibut in the shop’s usual breading. Both were fried to perfection!
Mine needed a little salt, but that might be more to my taste. Yes, it’s a bit greasy… but it’s called the Frying Scotsman for a reason ;) so I think it was perfect. The fish was so good that I didn’t even finish my chips (and I LOVE potatoes!!). Will definitely visit again!
