“We celebrated a birthday at Five Fusion & Sushi Bar recently, and it was a fantastic experience overall! Our reservations were honored promptly, with only about a five-minute wait when we arrived, which was a pleasant start.

The menu looked incredible, and we were particularly excited to try the Chef's Choice Sashimi big. We're so glad we did; the fish tasted incredibly fresh and had a wonderfully silky texture. Among the other rolls we ordered, the spicy yellowtail truly stood out – I'd never had it before, and I'm thrilled I tried it here.

For drinks, I ordered an Old Fashioned, which was pretty basic and nothing to write home about. However, the Japanese beer I had was absolutely delightful! Parking was a bit of a hassle, but it's peak summer, so that's to be expected.

The service was great, and the overall ambiance felt wonderfully upscale. We had a truly enjoyable birthday celebration!“

“Kanpai offers a variety of vegan sushi options. We usually get the Shogun and Akira rolls. We have been coming here for years and the sushi is always great, the service is great and the outdoor seating is nice (weather permitting) They do get busy so be sure to make a reservation.“

“I have only done take out from this place and never disappointed. The sushi is fresh and so tasty. Me and my son enjoy eating together because we are the only ones in the family that enjoys the cuisine. He can also attest of the great salmon, Californian rolls and the tuna. and i love vegen roll. we will be back.“

“Always so good! My fav is the coral reef roll- and the 90210, their take on the classic California roll -( but much better .!). My first choice for Sushi in Bend, convenient cause I live in Tumalo, and love coming to the Bite, and truly the sushi is better than many of the local brick and mortar sushi restuaunts.“

“Hibachi experience is there. Seating pretty much one open room with a little division in pony walls. Seating is tight due to centering on a grill. Food is good sushi, steak, shrimp, rice all had good flavor and cooked properly. I would recommend it but do remember it is higher priced due to the show and experience.
Update- still a great spot. Went on a Sunday at 3pm and got a private show just the wife and I. Due to no one else showing up at that time.“

“Surprisingly the sushi roll was incredible! (had the Salem Roll) My only comment is on the wait time, compared to the other trucks there, it took longer. But the food in my opinion makes up for time waiting. The area allows dogs and has water for them which is awesome!“
