“What a cool find. Awesome little mercantile with functional houseware, stylish goods, plus a selection of wine or beer. A little bit of outside seating to enjoy the nice weather. Service was very nice. A great little place to check out if you're waiting for your reservation or are just in the area. Ample off street parking. Prices were fair for trendy goods.“

“Hi, an apology and a review. I am the guy that walked in Saturday around 9 something and had all the cameras on. I was intoxicated, yes. I came in roughly I believe and started to go into shooting mode without thinking about anyone but me I believe I was loud. I apologize for shooting a pic that had folks in it without asking my real goal was to get a shot of the restaurant/bar I promise. Not its patrons. I love downtown Bend all its many wonders. The wine I had was delicious. I am truly sorry I upset your bar tender, truly. You have a great place here I just wanted to capture it, I see other folks have, so I guess he was just done with me and so after asking if I just photo the wine shelves and replying I rather you not I got the hint and left. Cozy, romantic dining room. Service is spot on, there when you need them yet no pressure to hurry any stage of your dining experience. Worth the drive from Bend!“

“Salute' is a small, intimate, perhaps romantic Italian eatery that gets overlooked and that's too bad. When compared to the bigger guns of restaurants in Bend, it stands nicely on its own and although smaller is easier to get reservations to. Overall, the food is excellent. The ravioli was out of this world. The cocktails are made well and the wines are generously poured. Great location downtown and a better option than waiting in line at Ken's Artisan Pizza.“
