The fried oysters are highly recommended, and the food is good and well priced with excellent portions. The restaurant has a classic, old school feel and a very fun deck, making it a popular spot for both locals and visitors. Service is generally good, and the staff are friendly and hardworking. The bar is open late, providing options for drinks, although some customers advise sticking to beer or wine as mixed drinks may not meet expectations. The ribeye steak was slightly underdone but the salmon was perfect, both served with well-prepared sides. The clam chowder was flavorful and the turkey sandwich and turkey club were very tasty, with plenty of turkey and crispy fries. The garlic bread was average, and the chocolate cake was not made in-house. Overall, Driftwood remains a favorite for good food, friendly service, and a pleasant environment.
