“This place is a Hidden Gem in Cannon beach. Stumbled across it by accident and had amazing bands two nights in a row. The owner is extremely friendly and over the top appreciative for everyone that comes in. He will make you feel right at home from the minute you sit down. They run kind of a skeleton crew so during peak times it might take a little while to get your drinks, but it's a cool atmosphere and the people in there the two nights I was there were very friendly and welcoming“
“We always stop by Bill's when we're in town, it's got something good for everyone. We've never had a beer we didn't like, and we're coming from Portland, land of microbrews. The service is always solid, and even during the busiest seasons it doesn't feel like a rush to eat and get out.“
“Although pricey this is some of the freshest fish and chips I've had! Chowder is not the best but very nice fresh clams in it not a smoky taste. Appreciate that it's gluten free but still could use a bit more flavor- so much competition in town! Would be nice if in winter someone offered the tomato style chowder!“
“We often find ourselves in Cannon Beach and The Driftwood is always open and providing great food/service. Plenty of options for Seafood, Steak and a wide variety of appetizers (including Gluten Free or Vegetarian). The staff are busy making sure everyones needs are satisfactorily met and ensuring food is prepared as requested. The Driftwood never disappoints! “Corner!”“
“This was THE best lunch in town ! So fresh ! The crab cakes were delicious - service was friendly and attentive. The entire staff were wonderful and kind ! The Crab Salad and the Blackened Halibut Sandwich were superb ! We will be back again and soon !“
“4- The Wayfarer just got a little facelift and I liked it. It lighten it up a bit inside but they keep the wood. It was a nice soft change, I feel was needed and well done. Refreshing but not in your face. Food and staff were still fabulous!Highly recommend the Wayfarer Restaurant. It over looks Haystack Rock so the view can't be beat! The service is the best. Wait staff is top notch and you will want for nothing. Great place for special occasions, or just to relax after a day on the beach. Lastly, The food is wonderful-pleasing to the eye, tasty, large portions and so filling. Highly recommend the fish and chips.“
“Plenty of parking in their lotPlenty of indoor and outdoor parking$2 for a can of popTwo fish tacos were 12.99Fish and chips had options for the fish such as cod or salmon, etcSelected cod and the batter is very light ..... fish was cooked greatFries were crispyOrder inside at counter and food is brought out to youFree salt water taffyCool view of the river that sits right behind restaurant“
“Enjoyed a very nice dinner here. The menu isn't large but what they do offer is very good. I was disappointed that even though it's attached to a bakery (not open during dinner hours), bread with the meal is not complimentary. The portions are not large. I ordered the salmon, which was delicious, but probably only a 3-4 ozs piece. About the same for my wife's halibut. The cheesecake was amazing and I highly recommend that.We were able to walk-in (likely due to being here off season) but I would recommend making a reservation.“
“My Crab Louie was very well presented, a bed of crisp salad topped with a generous amount of beautifully arranged Dungeness Crab fry leg pieces. Served with a side of buttered baked bread. My hot cocoa was good and topped with whipped cream and a brown sugar sprinkle. Service was attentive and responsive.Parking: Parking on street or nearby free public parking lot.“
“We stumbled across this place and it turned out to be excellent! Enchiladas Suizas was soooo good. My hubby's Chile relleno burrito was huge and he said it was delicious.Good drinks, prompt service. Will definitely swing by when we're back!“
“Update:We stopped in on our way to seaside. Robin, you are a gem. Great drinks and the food is always fantastic. Thank you for your service!Stopped in for a quick beer and bite. GREAT CHOWDER. AND SHRIMP. Both are meaty and tasty. Friendly staff.. lots of Tv's for sports watching.“

“03/18/24 - Update: Steamer Clams & Shrimp Louies are still amazing, and Louies are really *big* (we're thinking we might need to start sharing one.Major part of this update is service. Jorge is by far best server we've ever had at this location!!01/11/23: Just stopped for a snack & bloody mary this trip.As usual, steamers and chowder both excellent (with exception of a little grit in ~5 of the clams, thus deducted a star).Still love their panko breaded fish option (can no longer handle bear-battered seafood, anywhere.Shrimp salad is a killer, too.Never had a bad meal at any of their locations. (and I think we've tried them all ?)Highly recommended, unless you're looking for upscale ambiance.“
“Absolutely fabulous Thai food! Fresh and flavorful. We had calamari and sautéd mixed vegetables;they were both delicous. This restaurant has moved across the highway from where it used to be; take the time to find it. You will be glad you did!“
“Loved Norma during our visit to seaside. Chowder was amazing. For Captain's plate we chose Cajun spice in butter garlic sauce. It came with a medley of seafood varieties. Loved it. Combination appetizer with fried fish was a let down. It was quite bland even with sauce on the side. Do try this place. Service is good as well“
“Wonderful food, and everyone is always friendly. It's the kind of place you go to eat and end up making new friends. Dinner was great, and then we stayed and played darts. If you're looking for a place to eat and just hang out, this is your place.“
“Have been coming here since I was a kid. Great chain for breakfast on the Oregon coast. Pecan pancakes are amazing. Also offer great lattes and mochas. This place can get busy during peak season. Great with kids because they open so early. Service was efficient and friendly.“
“Ordered takeout from Sam's Seaside Cafe and was surprised with our order. The burger was full of flavor, and the fries were also done well. The folks there were very friendly, and the atmosphere was good for families. Note that any menu image that is prior to 2023 is incorrect with pricing.“
“Pupusas and Chuchitos are delicious my son liked Chicken Tacos. Kids menu also good. My husband liked The Super Ramos 2. The servers were really nice and courteous, always asking how we are doing and if we need something else. I definitely recommend it.“
“Service was very friendly. Fish sandwich was excellent!! Oyster shooters were excellent. Burger was mediocre. Clam chowder not very good. Just tasted like it was made with alot of chicken stock...but the clams in it were very fresh. An odd atmosphere inside with very bright lights. Cool patio area with fire tables.“
“Great find! Great food, awesome service. I loved the atmosphere, inside and out. We chose to eat on the patio, which is right off the beach. They had cute surfboard styled tables with overhead heating, and tall glass panels, to protect you from the elements. What a great experience, and a walk on the beach for the close.“
“Absolutely wonderful in every possible way! The food was perfectly wonderful and NW drinks were absolutely perfect, as was our bartender Bryan and our server :). Not to mention the atmosphere! Wonderful. Hands down the best dining experience I or my husband has ever had at the Oregon Coast. Thank you all for a positively delightful evening.“
