“Hello! my friends and I were visiting Astoria for a week when we came across this Goldmine of a Bar and Restaurant! The first day we came we had the BEST Bartender we've ever had! Not only is her service impeccable but her sense of humor and friendliness is just outright contagious! Kelly is her name and I give her 10 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 out of 5!!! Now the second time we came we had to try the Prime Rib. Best decision EVER and we found out that Kelly is also the cook so we knew we were in for a treat and boy howdy it did not disappoint! Excellent flavor, cooked perfectly an overall experience I tell you what. We will definitely be back and I hope Miss Kelly NEVER goes anywhere! “It would benefit a seasonal worker to give the Warrenton location a try, their leads are really great at training the processors and the facility is immaculate. The crews work well together and they will move you around a little to find your strongest area. Which really is wonderful as it made working there feel good because, the leads really care about finding where you will excell and give you the tools to move up in the plant. “Fantastic restaurant in the heart of Downtown Astoria! We ordered the grilled rockfish and battered rockfish and fries, as well as a crab cocktail and clam chowder. Everything was delicious and perfectly prepared. The clam chowder's base is thin (almost like deliciously flavored milk) but it is chock full of crab, potatoes, seasonings. and deliciousness. It is definitely not the thick style that one might get from a can of Campbells Soup or several other local Astoria restaurants. Simply put, it was one of the most delicious chowders I've ever had. The restaurant is very cute inside, and our server was friendly and extremely attentive. A couple of minor downsides: we encountered 30 minute waits on two occasions when we tried to go for dinner- which isn't the restaurant's fault, just a sign of how popular it is; the cole slaw and sauces came out to the table in small plastic cups which was a little off-putting; and the amount of fish on our plates (there were 3 of us) seemed to me to be on the low side compared to other fish restaurants in the area that we visited. The downsides are minor compared to the quality of the food this restaurant serves, earning South Bay Wild Fish House 5 well-deserved stars.“

“Fish is always albacore tuna; fresh, firm, delicious. Fantastic. Each ordered is prepared for YOU, hence why it takes so long to get your food and why the line moves slowly. A rule of thumb is every person in line is roughly 90 seconds wait time. If you have time, this is totally worth it. Fries are also crispy... Look around, there are some benches and pic nic tables close by you can eat it.“

“My family's first trip to Astoria for a wedding at Pier 39 and we decided to stop by Silver Salmon for dinner. We definitely had a few adult beverages and had a great evening and even better food! Our waiter, Patrick was so wonderful and attentive and even when I left my wallet there he and the manager kept it safe for me till the next day!! 10/10 recommend for quality food and staff!“

“My husband and I drove 5 hours here to Astoria, Buoy was primarily the reason why we visited to have food, beer & to see some sea lions. It was on the top of our list of things to do. Well to our huge surprise the location is not what was advertised anywhere I saw online. The location described online has been shut down for years due to a collapsed roof according to the person who was working there that day. There wasn't a kitchen, so no food either. However their beer was very good. I understand things happen but please someone update Buoys info online, so misleading & so disappointing.“
