“This place is great basically because it’s staying open past most other shops in the area. We walked in last minute & even though the owner had a long & possibly stressful day, he kept his cool. My kid really wanted ice cream, so it was a good stop for us. Although, he doesn’t offer ice cream samples. Which is odd to me, because a small lick off a mini spoon can’t cost him but less than half a penny. I understand kids run through & take advantage of samples; withholding samples, for specifically ice cream shops or shops that sell ice cream, is a terrible practice. Maybe limit the samples to (2) in the future.“

“What a gem! This locally owned shop has everything you could want for a Cannon Beach stop. Salt, water, taffy, fudge… and then you turn a corner and there’s caramel corn, cheese corn, ice cream, unique gifts, and so much more. The selection feels endless, but what makes it even better are the people—so warm and welcoming, it really adds to the experience.

It’s one of those places where you walk in for one thing and leave with a bag full of treats you didn’t even know you needed. Definitely a must-stop when you’re in Cannon Beach. I’ll let my photos do the talking, but trust me—you’ll want to plan a visit!“

“Stopped here on a whim and the looooong wait in line was 100% worth it! The owner even stopped to chat with us on his way out. Very nice man. Even got a t-shirt. Wish we were closer cause this would absolutely be a frequent stop for us!“

“We got in a decent sized line about 10 minutes before closing. Not only did they stay open to accommodate everyone, but gave amazing service. They were hand making the waffle cones as we got into the store, they smelled delicious. They have a fantastic selection including Dreyers and Umqua ice cream, Dole Whipped soft serve and shaved ice with condensed milk. I definitely think this is the best shop in town for all that they offer“

“In August 2025, we visited Dairy Queen in Seaside, Oregon. We had been boating and fishing in Astoria, Oregon, and we decided to buy strawberry milkshakes at Dairy Queen as we headed to Canon Beach, Oregon. The store was clean and well-maintained and the strawberry milkshakes were delicious. Thank you, Dairy Queen, for providing us with our milkshake refreshments.“
