“Took my mom and daughter with me since the place is cat themed and they love cats. The impression with omg cute and clean with friendly service. We ordered a large half strawberry and half mango dessert. Also tried a custard filled desert that looks like a cute fish. The ice cream desert is light and perfectly sweet. If you love very sweet rich stuff then this wont be for you. Would definitely come back again.“

“The employees are always so friendly and sweet. I always just order with them rather than using the self-service kiosks because often times the kiosks show a cookie as sold out but there is a batch getting ready to come out of the oven and they are ALWAYS worth a 10-15min wait. I prefer cookies over any other dessert confection and Crumbl cookies are untouchable. They are always fantastic but the cornbread, snickerdoodle, and peanut butter stuffed & topped with peanut butter are our absolute favorites.“

“Their indoor seating area is so cute! The green booth seats are very comfortable. It’s a great place to sit and catch up with a friend over a refreshing beverage. I got a Taro smoothie and they were willing to add boba and make it half sweet, which was very nice. I am excited to try more items from their menu!“

I had a baker last minute no show to a wedding I recently coordinated and within an hour and a half after talking with them we had a new wedding cake and table of desserts. WHICH WERE SUCH A HIT!! “The bingsoos are fantastic on a hot summer day. My wife and I ate here 3 days in a row, because…why not? The half strawberry, half mango is refreshing and the shaved ice itself has a sweet, creamy texture. One of the other days I ordered the black sesame bingsoo, which was also excellent. The different toppings reminded me of halo halo (a Filipino dessert).

The reasons I gave them 4 stars is not because of the food. This place is severely understaffed on summer days and the wait is incredibly long when everyone is getting off dinner at the same time. We luckily beat most of the crowd, but still waited 30 min to get our order. Two employees is not enough to keep the traffic moving. Understaffed also means tables are not maintained and tend to be covered in a sugary, sticky mess.

Update: 11 months later and the wait times are much more reasonable. Typical wait is about 5-10 minutes after ordering. It can use more seating and someone to wipe down the tables from time to time. The restroom isn’t maintained well either. Inside is always stuffy, as if there’s no air conditioning.“

“This is one of the only shave ice places in the area with an actual ice shaver. The chai/ginger combo with sno cap was as expected. And the ginger was spicy! The ice is creamy and melts in your mouth.

“I was so upset (excited) when they announced this store opening. Now I have to walk by this amazing smell factory every day and fight the urge to eat cookies for breakfast, lunch, and dinner!! All jokes aside though, insomnia is the best. Their macadamia nut cookies are my go to. Peanut butter is a close second. Straight up sugar cookies are banger. Can’t go wrong with the chocolate chip. Mmm and the double chocolate mint. Should be illegal to be that scrumptious, or as my grandma would say, “scrumpt-dilly-icious!”

We usually get the combo pack, sometimes with the ‘deluxe’ cookies, which are pricier but also bigger and freaking deLICIOUS. If you can’t tell, I love and highly recommend insomnia cookies!“
