“This won best donut in Portland for a reason. It is my fav donut place in the US honestly. Cannot emphasize enough how amazing this place is and how high quality the donuts are. What makes it even better is the joy Penny and Boun exude. Family-owned, but Delicious Donuts makes you feel like part of their family too! Must try for anyone who is a donut aficionado and definitely for anyone living in PDX!!!“

“We went here a few nights ago, 5 min before closing and the guy was really nice and let us in. He was obviously in a rush to get out of there, but was still very professional and nice about us coming in 5 min to close. Another couple was like 2 min to close and he also let them in. This is the way it should be, but I find it rare these days.
Anyway, the donuts were shockingly fresh for this time of the day, and they were tastier than usual as well. I've been a long time customer of all of the Voodoo Donut shops and absolutely love them! The employees and customer service are always exceptional!
One complaint - you've been skimping on the jelly filling inside the GoTarts. I'm not happy about this - they've been like 1/4 to 1/3 full and they used to be full all the way through. Please fix this, bc these are my all-time favorites!
Also, I thought that the voodoo doll had Bavarian cream, but it had some kind of jelly that I didn't like the taste of. Did you change this or is my memory off?
Anyway, I highly recommend the Gotart(full of jelly filling;) and the Marshall Mathers. My daughters love the Grape Ape and Dirt ❤️“

“Because they don’t make the donuts at this location we can bring our pup in which has been amazing for her training. The staff are all so lovely and patient with us while we multitask training and ordering. The donuts and lattes are delicious and they have a great rewards program. Our favorites are honestly the vegan donuts. The orange olive oil is maybe one of the best donuts I’ve ever had.“

“Stopped by Mochinut and had a great experience. The mochi donuts were soft, chewy, and full of flavor, and the coffee paired perfectly with them. Prices run about $10 for three donuts and $6-7 for coffee, but the quality and presentation make it feel like a nice little indulgence. A fun spot when you want something different from the usual donut shop.“

“Blue Star Donuts at the South Waterfront location is such a treat. I sat at the bar facing the windows, which has about ten seats, plus a few tables behind it. The space feels relaxed and welcoming, perfect for slowing down and actually enjoying your donut. Miles was my donut master and made the experience even better with his friendly energy.
I tried the Blueberry Bourbon Basil donut and it truly lives up to Blue Star’s reputation for adult donuts. The blueberry is bright and both tart and sweet, the bourbon adds a soft smokiness, and the basil is subtle but present. The brioche donut itself is springy, tender, and incredibly soft. I may or may not have licked the last bit of icing off the paper.
I also had the Raspberry Rosemary old-fashioned cake donut, which was outstanding. The raspberry glaze is bold, fresh, and seedless, bursting with flavor without being overpowering. The donut has a light crunch on the outside with a moist, soft crumb inside. Even without the glaze, the cake stands beautifully on its own.
On a second visit, I shared a few donuts with my daughter. The Chocolate Bergamot old fashioned had a dense crumb with light chocolate and a gentle Earl Grey citrus note. The gingerbread donut with yuzu and ginger liqueur was aromatic and moist, with warm spice and a nice citrus lift, though I wished the gingerbread flavor was a bit stronger.
Blue Star consistently delivers thoughtful, creative flavors with great texture. Be sure to sign up for their rewards program for free coffee and donuts. I will absolutely be back.“

“Excellent service. There was no one there so she had a little extra time. Gave a little history of the company. The apple fritters are absolutely the best apple fritter I've ever had anywhere. I've had them in Denver and now in Portland. No other apple fritter can even come close. They crunch just the right amount apples and glaze. Oh, they're just great.“

“Early on a drizzly morning, I was greeted kindly with superb service. The shop has a cute old school donut shop vibe, complete with helpful staff.
Now on to the donuts! The chew of the raised donuts is nearly perfect. The dough is light, not cloyingly sweet and with the slight chew you're looking for in a good raised donut. I highly recommend their filled donuts. Also, the chocolate glaze was decadent again with that alright balace of sweet. Now on to my favorite, the sesame donut is a must. A plain cake donut with a light glaze dipped in toasted sesame seeds! This mildly sweet donut is perfection. I'll be thinking about it until I get it next!

“Heavenly donuts is the BEST. My favorite donut ever is a plain old fashioned, and I got two of them today. They were absolutely perfect. Cripsy on the outside, soft on the inside. Easily the best old fashioned donut I've ever had.
The customer service is amazing too! Everyone I interacted with was really nice. And the prices are unbeatable, especially for the quality of the donuts.“

“The owner Sam is the warmest start to anyone's day. He will remember your name, favorite drink, and ask how your wife's last work trip went. He honestly remembers everything and creates such a welcoming space. A one-man machine making excellent coffee, creating chia tea on the side, and somehow getting home with plenty of time to spend with his daughter. Big props to this business!“

“I’ve been looking for a spacious and easy to reach cafe on the east side of Portland via public transportation for some time now, and I think I’ve found the unicorn of cafes that serve the tastiest non chain restaurant bagel and lox I’ve ever had in Portland. Generous portions of lox and chive cream cheese on a toasted bagel is a perfect companion to my iced mocha in the morning.
A spacious and airy interior that feels like Steve Jobs himself would have approved of, if Apple decided to open up a chain of Apple cafes!“

“I love the variety of flavors they have. My mom and I have gone multiple times (sometimes in the same week! ) and had a chance to talk to the owners and a couple of the baristas, all of which were very friendly and love to offer suggestions of flavor combos (that is, if you can't pick from the fun flavors they come up with every month). I also love that they offer a dark and light roast coffee and you can still actually taste the coffee, not just the sweetness from the syrup in the fancy drinks. They have a good balance.“

“The only powdered chocolate cream donuts anywhere in town (and I've checked), just the way Winchell's used to make them: absolute perfection! The other donuts are incredible, too, but the powdered with the poof of chocolate icing is my go-to 4 LIFE! When my husband and I journey 25+ miles to a Sesame Donuts and our box of donuts is in our car, I may spontaneously serenade my donuts.
