“Great vintage restaurant that's been a favorite of our family since the 1970s. The food is normally fantastic and we usually have outstanding service, but we must have gone on an off night because my steak was not cooked as ordered and our waitress was a little surly. For these reasons, I can't give it 5 stars.“

“I absolutely love this place and everything it invites us in for!! The food is amazing! The atmosphere is fabulous! Their meal prices are surprisingly less than I would have expected. I have had dinner there twice in the last month. Both times I have ordered their French Dip Sandwich with salad for only $15. Heads up, it is only leafy lettuce of sorts. Nothing else, except dressing of course. Which I like variety, and get 3 different ones on the side. House dressing, ranch and thousand island. You can get fries if you prefer. Either way, or whatever you order there, I doubt it will disappoint. The people I went with each time loved their dishes as well.So, I have no complaints with Clyde's, which is considered one of Portland's oldest restaurants.Wait! I take that back. The parking can suck. The lot is too small to accommodate the crowd it brings...but there is parking on the street as well. So don't let me scare you away from this place because of that. Basically, just be prepared for the possibility that you might not find a spot in the lot *: ) but, like most of us feel, no problem, it's worth it.So, that's the only issue I have with this place; and it's not necessarily a bad thing if you think about it. I mean, I know parking can be an issue. But, sometimes you can get lucky like I've been, and even find front row parking.If you are looking for a nice place to take a date, or hang out with friends/family you haven't seen in a while and want a nice place to go (as was the case my last visit), or if you haven't yet been to Clyde's Prime Rib Restaurant and Bar... I definitely recommend them.“

We were celebrating our 26th Wedding Anniversary and everyone of the staff went out of their way to make sure it was the best night possible for us and all wishing us a Happy 26th Anniversay. The food was excellent, the care of professionalism was the best bar none. “We came to acropolis as a touring band from Seattle. After playing a late night show, we had trouble finding decent food so late at night. Acropolis was the answer. Acropolis is THE BEES KNEES. Every single employee was considerate and kind, going above and beyond while serving us. The dancers were beautiful. The steak bites were immaculate. What more can you ask for? “The strak was tender and succulent. I had it medium rare. The wait staff was less than stellar and we waited for at least 30 minutes for a waiter after being seated. Not a good look. There may have been a mistake or a table assignment error. Once the waitress came she was great. The food was excellent as usual.“

“Trendy upscale restaurant. Service was outstanding. Very polite, attentive, and knowledgeable. The lunch menu is fairly small, but small menus keep the food fresh and fantastic in my mind. Fun atmosphere with lounging area. Giant atrium inside of the 9s hotel. I failed to get a photo on my chicken sandwich and fries, but both were excellent. Others in the group went with the mushroom scallop risotto, which looked amazing.“
