“Very good menu. Great coffee. They are very accommodating on special orders. Only complaint is my wife's breakfast was very cold. Cold eggs, cold potatoes, and cold toast. I really wish restaurants would heat up the plates for hot food and chill for cold foods. I love going to a Mexican restaurant because you're last bite of food is still hot as your first. LoL. We will definitely give it another try and hope for the best.“

“This place has the most amazing food. Lunch after a round of golf took me by surprise. I had a hotdog, a "hotdog!". Obviously, the dog and the bun were nothing unusual. But it was dressed with some really good stuff. (I won't go into details, you'll have to see for yourself.)“

“Delicious food. The kind of place that a week later your body will begin to crave eating there again and the cravings won’t stop until they’re satisfied with a return visit. Warning: your clothes and your hair will stink like grease and oil when you leave so don’t wear your fancy clothes to eat here because you’ll be on the hook for dry cleaning and in desperate need of a shower after your meal. You’ll definitely have to wash your hair to get the stink out. Worth it though.“

And I was skeptical to the apricot he puts on it. But boy was I wrong! That is so DELICIOUS! He makes his own mayo (I’m not a fan of mayo by itself) and it’s very good. Granted I made mine into fry sauce with ketchup. BUT he also makes his own pickles! So perfectly thinly sliced and if you like a tangy pickle you’ll love it! There are other things I’ll have to try. But I will be back. I don’t know if your name is zando but keep it up zando!“

This makes me a little picky about strange things like, employee retention, a love and involvement from owners, a mutual respect among employees, excellence in service, attention to details. Last but not least- knowing their customers- how they like how what when and where is remembered and held somewhat sacred. Being a regular here is being part of a family as staff or clientele. As long as I have breath in my body and they will have me I will host a show here for my own sanity and well being. More places should pay attention to how these people do business on all ends. Had the fried cod, and all I can say is “you gotta try it.” Light crispy crunchy batter, perfectly cooked, flaky fish. Even the tartar sauce is worth writing home about. And it won’t break the bank. 2 large filets, and an ample serving of fries served with malt vinegar. All for $18.00, I’ve paid 30 to 35, for less, and nowhere near as good. While you’re at it, the salmon spread, and the salmon ceviche. Sooo goood!!!“

“Cafe yumm is my favorite healthy food in Eugene. The yumm sauce is to die for and service is always great, friendly staff and the food is always fresh and amazing. I grt the classic bowl with southwest chicken and the hand dipped dark chocolate oatmeal raised cookies that are bigger than my entire hand are INCREDIBLE.
