9/21/22 After having a rather negative experience at a neighboring eatery, We were so pleased by the Chowder bowl! Clam chowder was soooo good. The waiter was pleasant and accommodating, the food was very good and it was all around a great experience! Thank you!
The first time we had the oyster stew it was fantastic. We went again today two weeks later. It wasn't so good this time, and there were only five oysters in this whole bowl of $18 stew. There were a lot of mushrooms which I think were supposed to look like oysters. I don't remember mushrooms the first time. This was disappointing compared to our first visit. It doesn't seem like it was the same recipe at all. The garlic bread that accompanies the oyster stew was...
It was okay.... but clam chowder was so thick that my spoon would stand up straight. I just prefer my chowder thinner. Everyone else seems to love the place. .... I must say the people working there was super nice and friendly!
