“New family favorite. Usually the way we and I travel to eat out because it's easy to get burnt out on places if you go too often. But when we discussed eating out tonight, my wife mentioned how much she enjoyed Gyro Time a couple weeks back (as did I). I know the purveyors prefer cash (those credit charges really hurt small businesses) so we grabbed cash and... Once again, phenomenal food. I'm thankful our son isn't home because the noises we are making enjoying this food would have made him uncomfortable. Seriously. I've had food from other similar restaurants and it was always good, but Gyro Time is a step up. and the couple who run it are very kind. I will be dining here regularly.”

“This review is based on our last few minutes paying the bill, everything else was top notch. Our group of 4 was chatting when our bills arrived and continued to visit, and our waiter came by to gather abit later and told him it was ready. At this time we Bagan to review our bills to pay one with a card and we were paying cash. As soon as I placed the cash in their bifold and placed on the table another waiter came to the table and stated being just like our waiter and dressed similarly. Worth noting she was about 110 5 foot or so with our waiter at 220 plus and 6ft or so wit a great beard. I stated that our waiter had much bigger feet and a great beard with my wife commenting about our matching hairlines... lol right. No next thing we get is she identifies as law enforcement and proceeds to walk away with an elevated voice "I'll kick beat you down" I turned left to my friend and sain now she wants to wrestle. At this point mist people are watching and then just short of screaming she yells "I'll Kick your A$$". And indeed the entire restaurant is watching on what was going on, I simply went back to visiting with our group not knowing what was next. Not long afterwards our waiter walked by and as he did thank me for the tip. No follow up from management nothing. So probably about 15 minutes after this a few other groups had left and we started our departure and still nothing. Over the years we have been here many times as a couple and a few large groups, after this event not to sure we could return for an enjoyable dining experience with their staff threatening some ones life unprovoked. “I’ve been in Oregon for ten years. I’ve been looking for a Mexican restaurant to rival the places I used to go to on the San Francisco peninsula and when I lived in San Diego.

This spot is every bit as good. In fact, it is better. The extremely kind and attentive service, along with an uh-may-zing salsa bar are beyond words to describe.

Top that off with agua frescas that are to die for and you have an unbeatable combination! I’m gonna try the flan tonight. I usually don’t get it, but I bet it will be incredible!”

“A Great Family Dinner at NUTS on Sports

I had the opportunity to have dinner at NUTS on Sports in Boring, Oregon, with my daughter and grandchildren, and it was a wonderful chance to spend some quality time with people I love.

This was my first visit to NUTS on Sports, and we were immediately impressed by the very friendly, welcoming atmosphere. We ate upstairs, where it was a little less crowded, making it a great spot for visiting and enjoying dinner together.

The pizzas were delicious—fresh, flavorful, and enjoyed by everyone at the table. We had a great experience from start to finish, and I’m already looking forward to coming back.

Great food, friendly people, and a wonderful place to enjoy a meal with family. We’ll definitely be back!”

“Walked in at 9 AM on a beautiful Saturday morning and asked for a cheeseburger and fry's. The burger was huge, with sliced tomato, onion and lettuce. The fry's were hot and delicious. I sat at the bar and was taken back to the way cafe's looked when I was a kid. Tracy, the server was a jewel. Parking is no problem. Most everyone else was eating breakfast, which looked awesome. You won't regret the food or the ambiance. Do it and enjoy. SMP”
