ColdFire Brewing Company Brewery • $$
263 Mill St, Eugene

“We got lucky and had ColdFire beer and Paper Plate BBQ for lunch in Eugene. I got a flight of beers to try: one hazy IPA, black IPA, red ale, and Japanese brewery collaboration lager. All the beers had excellent flavor balances and distinct profiles: the hazy IPA was dank and tropical, dark IPA was roasty with the IPA end notes bite. The red ale had a sweet, brown sugar-chocolate malt and strong hops flavor, and the Japanese lager was crisp, clean, and lightly fruity.

In other words, you can go here for a good IPA. If you like any other beers, you're getting good flavor profiles and not just weak versons of IPAs (unlike a LOT of other breweries). Highly recommended for a good beer with some great BBQ from Paper Plate food truck.“

Claim 52 Brewing Brewery • $
1203 Willamette St #140, Eugene

“I’m really enjoying the new location and the food! Everything continues to improve with each visit. While the beer selection was a bit limited and primarily available in cans, the options I tried were outstanding. The Mango Sticky Rice was exceptional, and the overall food quality has been fantastic. It’s great to see thoughtful adjustments being made since opening week. The experience keeps getting better every time I come in!“

“The very best food with an exceptional server, MEGAN LOUISE. She had superb recommendations and we loved each one. She made the evening and was the ABSOLUTE BEST SERVER I HAVE EVER HAD!!!!! I was there with our daughter, son in law, and wife. We also ordered a pizza to go on Jan 19, 2025 as our granddaughter was resting from the Volleyball tournament.

“This place was awesome. I heard they had a cake that is to die for. I decided to have a rock fish and chips with a cider. Hard cider which was awesome all together. I recommend stopping by this place . It is on Territorial Highway heading towards Lorane Oregon. Just after King Estate Winery entrance.“

Oakshire Brewing Brewery •
Brewery: 1055 Madera Street, 1055 Madera St, Eugene

“The taste of craft beer IPA is a matter of personal preference, so I don't think it's appropriate to review the beer taste, but overall I taste mild and mild. I prefer an IPA that is a bit harsher and leaves a lingering aftertaste, but the atmosphere is nice and there are food trucks such as Thai, Indian Fusion, Burger etc in the parking lot, so you can choose your food and enjoy it at an outdoor table with your drink. It would have been better if it was on the lawn like Bend brewing company, but the Shade is a great place for a meal and a beer. Because of the food trucks, the parking space is limited, so you have to park on the street.“
