This place is awful, and I love it. It is not good food. Sometimes, though, you get a very specific craving for BAD shawarma, and these guys always deliver. Kind of always feels like it's on the verge of closing. The back of house is terrible at their job though; thank god it's mostly just putting prepped food together instead of any cooking.
For some context... I used to get Caspian's 2-4 times a week. I loved this place. The last 4 times that I have gotten it they have forgotten at least 1 thing in my shawarma plate. Tonight the meat was just bad. I always get the lamb shawarma. Usually the meat does not disappoint; normally diced pieces of lamb that are very tender and juicy. Tonight very hard large pieces. I miss how good this place used to be!!! Unfortunately I have to say I would find another place to eat.

Alas, Caspian Mediterranean on 13th in Eugene has closed its doors. Here's hoping that they may reopen at another location in the near future as this was a reliable cafe with good food, good value, good prices.
