“The only thing wrong with Newman's Grotto is the indoor seating shortage for cold and rainy winter days. There is ample outdoor seating for when it's nicer. The food is excellent! The service was great! If this isn't your go to fish and chips spot, you're doing it wrong.“
“Fisherman’s market is not the best seafood that you can find in Eugene! Newmans fish company located on Willamette has far superior fish. I went for lunch today 3/31 and got the cod fish and chips and I was quite disappointed with the quality of the fish. Additionally my fries were like warm at best like they had been sitting under a heating lamp for a good amount of time ( I ate there). They have a diverse menu with plenty of options which makes it great for families. I just cannot get past the fish I received it was chewy, tough, and the breading was flavorless. I would definitely recommend Newmans over this place.“
