Love the store! The cashiers (I would love to list them all but I'd probably inadvertently miss one)! The funny guy that helped me once in the fresh seafood section! Two complaints. One, there is almost always a lack of clerks/cashiers at check-out in the mornings (mid-morning is usually when I go in) and the line at one register backs up into one of the aisles). I'm never going to another Safeway again. I've wasted so much time trying to get a breakfast burrito here. Today it's "we aren't staffed enough" Safeway needs to get their crap together and start paying their employees better and staffing more employees.

I have rarely gone to the Safeway on 40th and Donald in Eugene but I was visiting relatives in the area and went 3 different times this week..Mr Buffo in that store made an it an exceptional experience. Put rubber band on our eggs, showed my mom how to tap her credit card, gave tips like don't use the handles on the bags all while having an engaging conversation.
