“Although the food was pretty good, she declined to accept my $50 gift card stating they are only good for one year, when in fact Oregon law states gift cards have no expiration in Oregon. I would have used it sooner, but I ended up with Cancer and was unable to use it. Also nowhere does it state on the receipt or card there is an expiration. The hostess was so kind and actually said she would ask the owner where the original payment went, she called me moments after leaving and said she was told "they just keep the money" I would not recommend purchasing gift cards from this establishment“

“So good!! Never disappointed each time I’ve been there. I’m always very timid going to a new place, but this place is amazing and I really love how patient and kind they are with my family. Such good food and fair prices. I always come here for sushi.“

“What I miss about college in southern California is the Korean food and duck sushi reminds me of LA Korean food. It’s hard finding good Korean food in Eugene. Eugene is lucky to have this place my cravings are always satisfied after eating here. Also prices are super affordable.“

“This is my favorite place in Eugene for sushi! They stay open late, have amazing food, and excellent service! This is the only sushi place I have found that will deep fry any roll for you also! They also have a great sake selection! Highly recommend this place. Ive been coming here for years and its always great! Can't recommend enough!“

“Fresh sushi with a unique rice blend. Good GF menu as well. Staff is pleasant, efficient and knowledgeable about dietary restrictions. Limited seating is cozy.
Everything tastes like it's freshly curated and not prepackaged off a Sysco truck.“

“Glad we decided to try it. Just walking by at the last minute the night before a Ducks game. The chefs work pretty hard here, they kept up with a full house. I'm thinking the sous chefs were on the ball. Miso soup a bit salty. Hamachi roll was pleasant, tuna roll ok, beef teriyaki a bit salty. That said I usually don't consume a lot of sodium. Atmosphere was jovial. Most people were eating so it wasn't too loud 😁“

“My husband loves them, they are reasonably priced, however the service was poor and scattered. We just wanted drinks (pop and water) and a few menu items. Their selection on the go round is limited.“

“My brother and I love coming in on a regular basis. We ride our bikes there and lock them up outside. We have a certain table that gives us a good view of our bikes. Bonus for Eugene. The service is always prompt and genuinely friendly and attentive. My favorite roll is the Black Widow. Its a Spider roll that is a culinary masterpiece...wow its that good. My brother likes the Chicken Bento very very much. See you soon!!“

“I have been eating here since it opened and even before when Taro was at Mame. Even back then, I was blown away by the quality of the food and the intention with which it is made. Superb. I feel so fortunate that food of this quality is available in Eugene. Eating the nigiri here always makes me super happy and satisfied. It makes any girls’ night or birthday feel extra special. Just found out Sundays and Mondays are easier to get a table here so will be coming back on those days more often.“
